I can't scroll in Firefox using the touchpad on my Window 7 (64-bit) laptop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the most recent touchpad driver from the manufacturers website but this does not resolver the issue. Any suggestions?

Thx for suggestion... but it is two fingers on this one, and please note that scrolling works fine in Chrome and IE... the issue seem to be related to Firefox browser in some way.

I have recently upgraded my iMac to 10.6.8 and now find that the upload photo to Facebook facility no longer works. I have reset Safari but this has not resolved the issue - any suggestions? I can click on the "upload photos/video" field and it takes me to Finder to select the photo - but on selecting the photo, the Finder screen disappears as normal but from then on nothing happens.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now empty the Safari cache.
Back to the menu bar, click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari then try Facebook.
If that doesn't help, it may be a Safari extension preventing you from uploading content to Facebook.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall. -
I try to drag a photo folder into lightroom 4 on my MAC, lightroom fails to open and a 'Corrupt Catalog Detected' screen pops up. Clicking on 'repair catalog' does not work either. Any suggestions?
I'll have to get a better instructor on deleting the preferences since when I've doen it in the past nothing is there when I open LR the catalog is gone. I assumed that was what was supposed to happen so I start importing all over again. But that is a different issue...
The problem has been happening since at least the beta of 3 came out and I saw other posts back then saying they had similar issues but I assume it was a beta thing... But since the full version came out and through each incremental change I haven't seen an improvement. If anything it has gotten a little worse with time.
I have to try to be careful to not be in a hurry and start clicking around in the catalog as it seems fragile until it has cataloged all the photos in the library. When starting you will see the numbers populate the folders very slowly and I try not to click on a folder that hasn't had the number of photos pop up yet. Also draging the slider down to see more of the cataloge can have the same affect and crash the system.
I wish I had more to go on.. I believe it may be a resources issue but as I went from 3-4 Gig I thought it would get better. I don't have big programs running but did have outlook and word running in the background along with firefox and chrome.
And yes it only happens on this HP desktop (it's 2+ yrs old) and may be showing it's age a bit. My laptop which has less resources doesn't have the issue.. I have them sharing the catalog. (not at the same time) just when I'm working in other places in the house.

By far the most common problem hardware-wise seems to be scuffs on the aluminium. Yours is the first report of a faulty screen I've seen.
If you use the same Apple ID on both devices it'll sync whatever you want it to - music/apps/photos/messages/etc.

When you have kernel panics, the pertinent information is in the panic report.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. I've been restoring a new iphone to my icloud backup and it's been taking hours. It's already been 15 hours and it keeps flashing between 30 to even 48 hours longer. I already stopped it last night and restarted but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any suggestions???
Correction: the message that iTunes hangs at for hours on end was "Waiting for changes to be applied".

I recently upgraded my Iphone 4s to 5.1.1 and founf the Wi-Fi button in settings greyed out saying No Wi-Fi. I have tried Reset network Settings, Rest All Settings and restore in Itunes but to no avail. I understand this is a comon occurence but I cant find a solution to it. Can anybody help?

I had tried that but I never was quick enough!!! ended up fixing it by going to the enclosed folder in finder ~/library ,find photoshopCS6 settings , rename the folder to include old, as in settings.old and then start up PS , all working!!!! Yes, There are actually 4 calendars listed under my iCloud account. The listing on my iPhone is exactly like the listing on my iPad. The iPad is updating but not the iPhone. It's odd because the iPhone did work at one time so I'm assuming it some setting I've changed. I have checked and double checked that the settings on both devices are the same. Do you have any other ideas?
