I Can't Stop This Bad Glitch In Logic Express 8
Basically I re-installed the software and now I get this weird thing where the metronome menu is open, none of the other buttons on the project settings window work, and when i click on them the window automatically reverts back to the metronome setting window. Also, when I click exit the menu closes but then pops up again into infinity.
What do I do here? I can't close the menu and lots of features are now inaccessible.
In the meantime, repair preferences and make sure Logic is the only thing running. You can also start up in Safe mode (I think hold the shift key IMMEDIATELY after you hear the bong on start up.) It may take a while to start up, but you will see "safe mode" on the start up screen. This loads a minimal system and you may not be able to do too many things. It will minimize what you have to trouble shoot, however. Open Logic under Safe Mode and see what happens. It sounds like something is running in an endless loop, it may even be a conflict with a Widget or something. You can also trash the Logic prefs file and give that a go. It may be bad RAM. If you've added any, take it out and see what happens. Do all your other applications work without maxing out your CPU?

You may have an unwanted extension that is modifying sites (or the toolbar area). Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that flush the tab?

I have an iphone 4 that keeps deleting my notes. How can I stop this from happening? I've had my phone over 2 years and only in the past 2 months has it started deleting notes. Now they are all deleted, but thankfully still in my email, but only on a computer.
I guess he/she open Notes in Gmail settings. This archives (one way sync) notes in gmail account under notes label that is invisible if you are using the standard gmail setup on your iPhone. You can see it on desktop browser, Safari or gmail app in iDevice. Am I wrong?

Deleted voicemails keep being restored, how can I stop this
I deleted my voicemails from my iphone 4. A few days later I discover all of the deleted voicemails have been restored. How can I stop this?
RollandI have had the same problem for months. Neither ATT nor Apple has a solution. I am forced to clear the deleted messages to keep them from restoring themselves to the active Voicemail list. The problem began with IOS 4.1 and has continued through two IOS updates. I just live with it although I am tempted to switch to the Verizon iPhone since ATT is baffled by a glitch that is clearly on their side. (Replacement iPhones and even an added phone number have not helped. It is something in our ATT profile.

Go to the apps tab.
Uncheck the box that says automatically sync new apps -

My husband and I share an Itunes account so use the same email address and password. Our iphones are now connected and we get each other's messages and share each other's contacts. How can we stop this happening?
A couple of different approached:
Create a second AppleID for one of you that includes the email address and phone number you wish to use for messaging, but do not apply it to the iTunes and app store (just keep the current one). My wife and I do this and it works quite well. Also allows for easier syncing of Contacts , notes etc. using icloud if you wish to do that.
Add additional emails/phone numbers to the existing account and change the Send/Receive settings for Messages. this will not fix the Contcts isues for you however. -

You can share the same Apple ID in
Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: here
But for all other Apple services like:
FaceTime, iMessage, iCloud, etc, one of you should use a different Apple ID. -

Yes, under the Settings for the store, you can turn off the auto download for purchases, that way if you purchase an app on another device it will not automatically download on that device. You would need to do this on both your iPad and iPhone.

Every single website url address, or url address within a website page is being added to my location bar/address bar drop down menu.
I don't want everything added or saved in the location bar. Only urls that I used a lot used to be saved there but now every single url (and url within a url)I visit is being added to it.
How can I stop this? This just started happening.
I'm sure it's a simple browser setting but I've checked and nothing gives an option to control this.

When I click on a link in an email using gmail in the Mozilla brower, I get the following message at the top of the screen:

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing. -

Every time I go to touch an app on my iphone 4 it goes straight into wobble mode, as if I want to delete or move it. How can I stop this. Why is that when I am composing a new message do I end up with multiple versions of my message I am composing up in my Google Trash mailbox? How can I stop this from happening?
It was very hard to see what the box says because the message displays for less than one second. However, I was able to record it with my iphone and pause it until I got a shot of the message. The box says the following:
"Do you want the application “java” to accept incoming network connections?
Clicking deny may limit the application’s behavior. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security preferences."
I did make some changes. I will see if it works.
