I was able to enlarge the fonts of menu bars and tabs in my previous version of firefox, I'm unable to resolve this on my own with firefox 4

The font in Safari's bookmarks bar and tabs bar has suddenly changed to a lighter font. How do I change the font back? I'm not speaking of the font size/type in the web browser in viewing web pages, but the font in the application itself has changed. It's rather annoying and would like to be able to change it back! OK, Margie, here's what to do . . .
First Quit Safari.
Then Find your User's (Home) folder library.
It's hidden, but here's how you find the Home Library:
Click on the desktop to get the Finder menu. Then go up to "Go" in the menu bar, while holding down the option key.
You'll now see the User Library in the drop down list. Open it, then look for the Fonts folder.
Take the fonts folder to the desktop.
Restart Safari.
Any better?
(Warning: This is only for the Users/Home > Library > Fonts folder. Under no circumstances, should this be done with the SYSTEM > Library > Fonts folder.)

How to Make Fonts Bigger in Safari Menu Bar and Tabs

I just set up a new IMAC 27" for my mom and she cannot read the menu bars and tabs in Safari. I know how to make the text of the webpage itself bigger, but is there any way to make the text in the menu bars and tabs bigger. Someone sugggested Opera browser. Would that be a better option?

I had the same issue with my 27-inch--here's how I fixed it:
1) Go to System Preferences > Displays and select the "Displays" tab
2) For "Resolution" there are two buttons: "Best for Display" and "Scaled." Select "Scaled."
3) Now you should see a list of resolutions. The default is probably 2560x1440. Change it to 1920x1080.
I don't have great eyes but this setting makes it easy for me to see. It makes all menu bars including Safari about 3/10ths inch wide and the menu lettering close to 1/4-inch tall.

Just bought a new 27" screen iMac. The menu bar and drop down menu text is much to small for me to see without leaning close to the screen. Does anyone know how to customize the text to a larger size. This is an issue for any program I open.

Once upon a time Apple displays packed in 72 dots to an inch (making their resolution 72 DPI). That meant that what we saw on screen at 100% scale was exactly what was printed on a printer - not to mention quite comfortable to read. However that advantage was eclipsed by the fact that photopgraphs and video were pixelated and the only solution to that was to increase the resolution - to pack in more dots per inch - which has the side effect of shrinking the size of text. Where I once used Word at 100% scale I now find it most comfortable at 150% scale.
There are several solutions. One, as Lex gave you, was to reduce the resolution of the LCD display. But unlike CRT displays, an LCD is tuned to a specific resolution and when you change it the results tend to be blurry. Another is to keep the resolution as it is and to adjust each program (if the program allows it). This makes Word usable and your browser can be set to use no font smaller than a size you set (which has some unpleasant side affects at some Web sites), but some programs and some parts of programs cannot be changed. The menubar and menus are among them. The third solution is one that Apple promised several years ago but has not yet provided - a resolution independant GUI. We can only hope that comes soon. And there's another partial solution - look in System Preferences under Accessibility.

After the latest update to Photoshop 2014, something went wrong and started spray-like black oil on canvas. I have deadline with cover. Can you help me please?

How do I undo whatever went wrong after installing the latest update to Photoshop 2014 and suddenly when I tried to paint or touch up my illustration (book cover I'd drawn and painted, then scanned in and continued painting, changing. It's mostly done but I needed to send it like yesterday!!) OR touch up a photograph, black-like oily smudge-like substance sprayed around the point of the brush. I tried to fix by resetting but really didn't know what to do and probably made it worse. However, the problem happened after I updated the Photoshop Creative Cloud 2014 on my desktop 8.1 Windows and after a Tech helped update the regular CC Photoshop on my laptop 2007, 64 bit Windows to 2014. He promised to call back after giving it time to install but didn't for whatever reason on Friday. That happened to go up to the same update I did on my Windows 8.1 Windows. I have this deadline and really stressed. COULD IT BE THE UPDATE OR BOTH. REGARDLESS, CAN SOME EXPERT HELP ME UNDO WHATEVER THE UPDATE AND/OR I DID? I'm a God-gifted artist but only started using Photoshop CC, then updated to 2014--which, again, I like even better--when I began my monthly membership January or February 2014, although I had paid version 2002 and updated to paid version 2004 (ownership, not paid subscription like now). I've learned so much, including transforming, moving, stretching, with layers--all in the painting area with my illustrations--a little touch ups with photography. I finally got the font size issue remedied. I somehow had an add on to make the print large in the address bar. But I have saved your tip to a folder for future reference and thank you so much.
Now if someone could just help me with this crashing business. I can't isolate it because nothing is constant. I unselected hardware acceleration and this is the longest I've gone without a crash, but I'm not thinking I've got it solved.
This is on an old laptop running XP. Firefox was running just fine until yesterday morning when I uninstalled RoboForm and installed LastPass. After that I started getting the crashes, yet I'm not pretty sure they have nothing to do with LastPass itself.

Click on each field and the choose Properties from either File menu (or if on Mac hold dow mouse button until context menu appears choose properties)
go to Font
choose desired size and type font,you can choose to make this the default.
Do this with each field.
Or if you have a lot of fields:
while one is selected select all of them
then go to fonts in properties
change Font and size and make default.

If you use a regular pattern when entering values, press enter (return) after entering the last value in a row. That will take you to the first Body Cell of the next row.
Start in Cell B2
1 Tab 2 Tab 3 Enter
4 Tab 5 Tab 6 Enter
7 Tab 8 Tab 9 Enter
Now you are ready to type into B5 .
Another way that some people find easier is to enter one column at a time
Start at B2
1 enter
4 enter
7 enter
etc.
Now start with C2.
Use whatever suits your work flow.

You (or your kids) inadvertently installed adware. You do not need to download or install anything to fix it.
