I just bought a new album in itunes and accidently deleted the first track. when i go to redownload it from my cloud or purchases it tells me that the item cant be redownloaded on this device for 90 days?

i have two itunes accounts but i only use one to buy music. while on the account that i use for music, i bought a new album last night. i bought the album with my 5th gen ipod. after the album was done downloading i accidently side swiped over the first track and deleted it. when i went back to redownload the track the message "this computer is already associated with an apple id. you can download past purchases on this computer with just one apple id every 90 days. this computer can be used with a different apple id in 81 days." i do not understand why i cant redownload something i just purchased. please help.

Unfrotunately, this sounds like a dead TC.
- also, the picture does NOT pick up the 2 airport expressess in the house that I used to extend the wirelass network on the previous TC
- there is no option to extend the wireless network
You need to reconfigure the Expresses to rejoin the TC's network via a factory reset.

Here is some helpful information regarding preorder albums in iTunes. I would recommend checking to see if you can download the single directly from the preorder album as some artists release a single that is separate from the album and will be a different purchase.

Upgraded to latest iTunes & now cant buy albums!

I can purchase single tracks but cant buy albums. I forces me to billing info saying 'account has changed' go in there, update switch card with CCV numbers click OK but no download starts. So select buy again and the billing screen comes up again.
Annoying or what, cash ready, 2 albums to buy, DOESN'T WORK.

This ties into another post about the 'authorisation loop' looks like MANY people are getting this after update to latest Itunes.
I guess Apple will loose sales, as people get fed up with the constant loop and will give up....like me.

ITunes 10.0.7.21 shows a white box instead of artwork for most of my albums. Many of these are albums I purchased on itunes. Also when I hit get album art it deleted the artwork it already had form many albums and says it cant find it.

OS is Windows 7
I updated iTunes the other day and I decided to run "get album art" and instead of finding artwork, it made some of the artwork I already had show up as white squares, or disapear entirely. The ones that are white squares show up under the get info, but not in itunes. I did click in view for show al artwork, no luck. Many of these albums I bought from iTunes. The ones that the artwork was deleted some albums I can buy on iTunes, but already owned, and iTunes found the artwork before, but now cannot. Some are albums that I spent many hours finding and adding the artwork myself. I am very frustrated. I cannot find the time to manually install artwork for thousands of songs.
My work computer is Windows 8, so I really don't want to hear windows vs OSX argument. My company won't switch to mac because you like it better, so I just need a solution to my issue. iTunes it has always worked better for me on my work PC than my macBook, I dont know why, but I don't take two laptops with me when I travel so I have my iTunes library on the PC that has to come with me. This is the first time an update has screwed things up for me.

Well my first guess was wrong. The line that failed is the one that writes out the image to disk. I've not revisited the code for that script for ages, but it seems I did add in an extra test for missing files a little while later, then forgot to upload the change. I can reproduce the error message if I deliberately rename a file to confuse iTunes so that seems the most likely reason for your problem with the script. I've uploaded a new build of CreateFolderArt which should work better.
See FindTracks for a tool to repair broken links. You should probably get that issue fixed first.

Both the button and the total cost appear to have been removed in the current version of iTunes - I don't have them either and other people have posted about it as well. Ive always loved Itunes, Ive always thought it was the easiest way to build a library, either music, or movies, ebooks or what have you. Now this new "Icloud" comes into the picture and tells me more than half of my digital movies cant be played because my pc isnt HD compatible, I watched every movie i have in my Itunes library before, therfore I am so frustrated, no one seems to have any answers for me, I think most would feel out of hundreds of dollars of digital movies and feel the same way.....I dont buy movies from Itunes but every movie I've ever bought off the shelves at stores that has digital download on it is put in my itunes library. I am having a similar problem with iTunes 11 on a Windows 7 box. I was able to rent and play HD movies befor "upgrading" to iTunes 11, however now when I try and rent a movie in HD I get the error: "This cannot be played in HD on this computer. You must rent and watch the HD version on an HD-compatible device. Or, you can rent the SD version and watch it on this computer."
Guess i'll be renting movies from XBox from now on.

If you have music that was purchased on different iTunes accounts than the one you use, then you must provide the password, otherwise the tunes are not considered yours. You can turn off iCloud and just use the usual USB sync method. But I wonder whether you'll have the same problem?

This happened to me last week- my solution- I went back to the store and 'repurchased' the songs- iTunes alerted me that I had already purchased the songs and asked if I wanted to redownload the song at no charge. I said yes and once the new download was complete- I deleted the songs that only played halfway so I wouldn't have a duplicate that didn't work.
