Hi forum:
I want to make a Sharing Reference between two Web Dynpro DC, to share only classes of one project to another.
I make the next steps:
1) i created one DC1 project
2) i put a classes that i want to share into the folder src/packages.3) i created a new public part and included all the classes that i included in src/packages
4) there are 2 jars that i need them for compile, so i linked them in properties > Libraries and also i putting them into the lib folfer
5) i made the build of DC1 and i can´t do it, the problem is that i´m losting the references of my jar´s in properties > Libraries, and don´t appears more, and i need to put them again, but the problem continue.
what can i do ?
Can i do a par with my classes and put the property SharingAccess=true and access it from a WebDynpro ?

Hi Josue,
U can access the classes between two components by sharing them using webdynpro.
<b>For sharing the classes between DC's right click the projcet>properties>webdynpro references>sharing reference>Add</b>
u can add the class files here inthis location and try accessing it.

Or put the data in three tab controls. The tabs itself are hidden. The
program switches between the tab sheet if one of the buttons is pressed.
The buttons are best not copied, e.g. the same buttons are used in every tab
sheet (buttons hover above the tab, a black shadow will apear). If the first
sheet is shown, button 2 and 3 are hidden, sheet two: only button 3 is
hidden, sheet three no button is hidden.
Showing the tabs allows the user to choose the views directlly. The button
logic is not needed anymore. But you'll have to live with a simple tab
sheet, instead of a fancy button system!

I need to set the profile path to be system name dependent on linux. I have a set of servers that share home directories, so I can only run 1 copy of firefox on 1 of the servers.

I have a group of 20 systems running RHEL 5.5 that share home directories. so my profile is located on each machine at /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/<unique string>.default
this path is set by the file /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/profiles.ini.
trying to open firefox on any system other than the first gives the "Firefox is already running, but is not responding." message.
If I could make the profile sit at /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/<sysname>/<unique name >.default, then each system should be able to have 1 browser open at the same time...

You can create shortcuts to open each instance with an absolute path to a specific profile instead of using profiles.ini

How can I share only a specific playlist with another family device?

I purchased an iPod Touch for my Dad for Christmas. I am trying to share only a selected playlist with the new device without synching everything that I have on my iPhone and iPad to his device. I have turned on home sharing but can't figure out how to limit the automatic sync that kicks off when I plug the new iPod into my PC. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately the support is down at the moment, I will have a better look later. I did go though the Apple support previously, however I found nothing that worked.
The first thread I came across was “Home Sharing” however no mater what I did, it did not appear in the iTunes sharing list (I did go though the “Show Sharing Networks” support as well)
Secondly, I saw “Using A Single Library With Multiple Accounts On The Same PC” (Something like that) but all this did was let us share the same music location, if I was to rip extra music, it will not show in there library

How to share only free/busy info in iCloud calendars?

I currently use Google Calendar to manage my calendars, with some calendars fully shared (view full event details, read/write) with my wife.
I also have been sharing my availability with non-Mac using clients and external partners using Tungle (and am transitioning to TimeBridge, www.timebridge.com now that RIM killed Tungle). Similarly, my wife currently shares free/busy info in her personal calendar with a work colleague who is on Google Calendars as well so he can see her availability even when it is affected by non-work events.
Lately we've been having increasing trouble with random Google sync issues, so I'm considering switching to iCloud calendar sharing instead.
We would like to continue sharing free/busy info with some people, and from what I've read iCloud doesn't have this sort of functionality. Even when a calendar is shared publicly, people can view all event details -- something we definitely DON'T want clients or work colleagues to have full access to.
Is there any way to sync my iCloud calendars into a third-party site like TimeBridge or even Google Calendars so that I can share only my availability externally? Or any other workaround?

Unfortunately, his Mac is not local to me. I would have to drive about 30 miles each way, which is not too bad, but I won't have time to do it for a couple of weeks and I am hoping an easier solution can be found without me having to drive, especially since if the problem is on my end, that trip would be a waste of time for both of us.

- create several ENS application server objects pointing to the same real application server
- cache different usernames against each ENS application server
- create multiple, identical application objects, assigning a different application server to each, OR

Unless you transfer the files from Setup Assistant, Migration Assistant creates a new user with the data.
To transfer the files to your first user, you have to log on this new user, and copy all your files to /Users/Shard folder. This is a folder where you can put the files you want to share between two or more users, and all users can read and write in it.
After copying the files, go to your first user, open /Users/Shared folder, and copy the files to your user folders. If you migrated applications, you must know that they are stored in a common folder (/Applications), so you don't have to transfer them. To open /Users/Shared folder, open Go menu (in the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type the folder

How to build a DLL that has Pascal calling conventions with application builder?

I'm researching for possible solution to one of our problems.
In one case, solution would be to build a DLL from LabView
code. This should be simple task, but the application that
is going to load the DLL requires that the functions in the
library are exported using Pascal calling conventions,
similar to the C/C++ example code below.

Could this be possible with LabView somehow? Or is it best just
to write the DLL with C/C++?

I don't know whether I need pass string pointers or not. The example
I posted was from the manual of the program that will be using the DLL
I build with LabView. I only wanted to show with it the exported calling
convention needed. It seems that it actually confused my question rather
than clearing it.
Anyway, now I know that it's possible to declare the calling convention
when building the DLL. And it's always good to know that I might encounter
different pointer types on the way, this may actually save me from a lot of
debugging some day.

Is there a way to share only part of an addressbook? I don't want to share every entry with my kids -- figure, there are things in it i don't want to share and there are A LOT of entries they really could care less about.

If I understand your question, the only way your kids would get your AB list on a different computer is if you have a .mac account and were syncing with that computer. Of course if you have a .mac account you can place files (and maybe a AB group, I haven't tried that) in your Drop Box folder for them to access.

And yes, I think it is an "all or nothing" share from Preferences.

How do I keep Bonjour IDs separate on 2 Macs that share a common iCloud ID?

I have two iMacs that share a common iCloud ID so they can exchange contacts, calendars, etc.
The problem is that when I use Messages, both Macs use the same name since they both have the admin user with the same Apple ID.
How do I share the same iCloud entry and have separate IDs for Messages?

Nope, it can't be done.
There can be only one My Card in the Address Book ( Contacts in Mountain Lion).
The iChat App (or Messages in Mountain Lion) call this name to all the Buddy lists at the Name of ID spot top left. (the Name or Handle drop down)
For the Bonjour account it "Broadcasts" this name as the Buddy Name in other people's Buddy lists (On the LAN using Bonjour).
A second Mac User Account with it's own Address Book and then using Fast User Switching is the only way to achive this.
The other way is to change the Name on the My Card to something that either of you could use such as the Computer Name.
As 2 of my computers have a My Card that lists "Ralph Johns" I get this in my Bonjour Buddy List when they are all logged in. The third computer is the G4 and this is part of the My Card Name.
On my G4 the iMac and the MacBook Pro both show and "Ralph Johns" (it would help to use a different pic on each I expect.)

I am trying to figure out how to save/share only a clip out of an entire project. I do not want to delete the rest of the timeline as I want to cut/copy out several smaller clips and save/share them as their own files. I am working on a copy of my original video, and I know I can just bring the project timeline down repeatedly to isolate this clip by deleting all else, but feel there must surely be a simple way to do this.

You would place the gray tabs of the WorkArea Bar to span just the area to be exported.

Move the Timeline Indicator to the start of the segment, hold down the Alt key of the computer main keyboard as you hit the left bracket key [

Move the Timeline Indicator to the end of the segment, hold down the Alt key of the computer main keyboard as you hit the right bracket key ]
The critical step is to make sure that you have a check mark next to the "Share Work Area Bar Only" option in the export dialog (if the dialog has that option).

Share only subsite and enable external access

Hello,
I'm trying to find out how to share a subsite or enable access only to specific subiste externally (URL https)
The idea is to have a site collection with a top level site "Projects". Then I will have subsites for different projects, where I want to share only that subsite with a particular user and that users need to access site externally
also.
But everytime I try to do this, the user gets access to the parent site and not subsite.
When I type https://example.com it change URL and redirect me to top level site and not subsite.
I'm sure there must be a way to achieve this, it seems to be one of the common uses for Sharepoint that's often touted, but I haven't seen an explanation of how to do it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
