I created two accounts

How do I link them? One I created with my school email to get the discount and the other I created through Facebook. Is there a way to link the two accounts?

ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them.  Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password.  Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.

  • Accidentally created two accounts, LOST MONEY ON SECOND ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've emailed the support group ten times and they haven't been able to remedy my problem yet. I was trying to use two gift cards and must have created two accounts(i don't remeber doing this) and now I have lost all the money that was left on the card in the second account. iTunes support knows that it is there, but cannot help me get to it, and they cannot apparently credit my accessible account with the lost funds. I am throughly frustrated and unconfident of iTunes from this incident. Any suggestions?

I have two accounts, same user and credit card, but one is for me the other for my wife. Ok I can log in, but when I go to make a purchase it tells me that the address isn’t a valid US address, but it is a valid address, and it’s the address I use for my billing address, in fact, it’s the same address I used with this account in the past and I had no problems. I hope you can resolve this issue.

  • I have created two accounts for the same purpose and now I want to mix them without loosing anything. How do I do that?

    Hi,
I have an Iphone and an Ipad with one email. There I have downloaded 3 ebooks.
Yesterday, I created an account at ID Adobe with another email. I have downloaded an ebook. I tried to downloading the other ebooks (I already have in the other devices), but was not able due to the a message related to license. I believe the different emails account is the reason. Please help me out. I thought that just my universities ID would be enough, but it is not.
How can I fix this problem without loosing any downloads?

You don't have to do anything with the first iPod that you don't use anymore. If you are planning on keeping it, put in a drawer in your house and forget about it.
You don't need a second account to use with the new iPod. I use one Appl e ID and iTunes library for two iPods, and two iPad. I have different content on all four devices. You can select exactly what you want to sync to each device and it can be different content on all devices.

  • How do I create two accounts on one computer?

Hi - I just bought my son a new iPod and he gave me his old one (a mini). His iTunes account is on my computer and I want to create my own account on the same computer so that we're not paying off each other's credit cards. How do I do that? It doesn't matter if we share music or not; we do have a lot of likes in common and can ignore the dislikes. Thanks.

  • How to combine two accounts?

I somehow seem to have created two accounts, both for the same email address, is there a way that i can transfer the credit from one account to another, and therefore combine them?

    Dear Readers,
I am sorry it took so long for this thread to find me ... or, for me to find this thread!
Skype does not permit the transfer of features, subscriptions, calling plans, or credit from one account to another.  Therefore, multiple accounts can not be "merged" into a single account.  This is true regardless of whether the account is under a Skype Manager hierarchy or not.
The only way to manage this is to cancel the items that are not needed on the account you no longer wish to use, and start new subscriptions and/or purchase new credit for the account you will use.  More details here: 'Can I delete my Skype account?'
If you need assistance with this, here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service
    Best regards,
    Elaine

  • How to share files between two accounts on the same Macbook Pro???

    Hi,
I have recently purchased a Macbook Pro and have created two accounts, one for me and one for my wife.
I have all the itunes music on my account and my wife wants to load some of the songs nto her Itunes on her account but I don't want to start copying files into the "shared folder" in the "users folder" which will obviously take up more room on my hard drive.
I have noticed that I can see my folders when she is logged in but the ones that she needs to access (like the music folder) have a red dot on them and when you double click on them it brings up the message "the folder "music" could not be opened because you do not have sufficient privileges".
Can anyone help me with these problems?
    Please help me!!!

Hi, remember to set the ownership & permissions for files/folders if you want to be able to amend files or change them from both accounts. If a file is created in one account. it may only be viewed in the other account. but if you change the ownership & permissions from "read only" to "read and write" then files can be amended from both accounts. To get the info, simply click once on the folder or file then command-i to get the file/folders info. you can change things there. Permissions can only be change from the account the file/folder was created in.

  • I want to merge two accounts

I am assuming someone from apple will respond to this.  I created two accounts one for iPhone and one for iPad. Now I want to merge them.  I don't want to start a discussion. I want someone form apple to fix it.

    Hi Shane ...
Apple's policy states emphatically that you cannot merge acocunts.

  • Screensharing dosn't work with with two accounts on a macmini

I have created two accounts on my Mac mini(Intel). I connect to the Mac mini UI via Screen-sharing. With one account( Admin) everything works fine but when trying to change to the second account the Screen-sharing loose the UI. I can't see anything however I can still use filesharing. The strange thing is that when I connect the Macmini to a Imac 27, via the Belkin Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort Cable, everything works and I can change between the two accounts without any problems using Screen-sharing from a third mac. Disconnect the cable and the functionality stops working again.
I don't have any monitor connected to the Macmini as it only serves as a Media/WEB/FTP server, so the only way of accessing the Macmini UI, without moving it to another room and connect it physically as per above, is to use screen sharing from any of my other Macs.
I had it all working on an older Macmini(PPC) running Tiger.
I've also tried with Apple Remote Desktop and Logmein with the same result.
    Anyone that have any ideas?
    Regards
    Uffe

Yes. The strange thing is that everything works when I have the macmini connected to the Imac via the Belkin mini display port cable.

  • Can an ipad be registered under two accounts

I inadvertently created two accounts on iTunes for my iPhone, and bought apps on each account.  I am waiting on an iPad mini to arrive.  I will register it with the account I have on iTunes with most of my apps.  Is it possible to login using my other account to download those apps, too, just like my iphone?
    Thanks,
    Terry

Yes it is possible, but when you switch ID's on an iDevice and then download past purchases using that other ID, you associate the device with that ID for 90 days and lock yourself out of the first ID for that period of time. You can read more about it here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4627
Obviously you realize that you should only use one Apple ID on all of your devices - if you want to be able to download past purchases, so if you didn't sink a lot of money into purchases with the one ID, you might be better off, repurchasing all of that content with the other ID and quit using that ID.

  • I am a teacher that has 3 personal devices and then 8 I use at school. How can I create two differnt accounts?, I am a teacher that has 3 personal devices and then 8 I use at school. How can I create two differnt accounts?

I'm an elementary teacher that uses 9 of my ipad 2's at school and I personally have an iPhone, iPod, and iPad.
How do I keep the accounts separate? I tried to create two apple ID's, using my home and school e-mail, but that isn't working. I don't know how to
keep the two separate the two. Do I need to use a different name on the account?

It should work.  That's how you do it.

  • My wife and I decided to both buy Iphones do I put them both under the same apple ID, or do I create two different apple ID's and two differnt icloud accounts?

My wife and I decided to both buy Iphones do I put them both under the same apple ID, or do I create two different apple ID's and two differnt icloud accounts? We want to be able to share my itunes library on both our phones and sync our calendars, but I don't want every update and reminder that my wife puts in her phone and I know she doesn't want every reminder I put in my phone.

What you need to do is both use the same Apple ID for iTunes content, but separate Apple ID's for everything else. So, you keep your existing Apple ID. If not a verifiable email address, you will need to create a new Apple ID for yourself. You also create an Apple ID for your wife, again a verifiable email address. You use the existing Apple ID for all iTunes content. The new Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, etc. Here's how to create an Apple ID:

Use multiple devices on one computer:

Unfortunately, at the moment you cannot create two user profiles on one iOS device.
