Why did I have to create a new ID when I logged into Communities this morning? Appears I don't have any history anymore either. I used the same browser and username/password (its stored in my browser) and it asked me to fill out my profile and pick an alias. Not sure what the deal was, it appears Apple can't figure out this whole id thing. I've used other community sites for over a decade without having to change my user/profile, I don't understand why this is such a pain with Apple.

My 16gb iPhone 4S keep tell me that my storage is almost full and I don't have enough space for any upgrades. I don't have any music or videos on my phone. When attempting to use Lightroom external editor program to edit a photo in Photoshop Elements 10, the photo does not open / appear on photoshop elements screen. I don't have any problem with this when using Photoshop Elements 6 or Photoshop CS. I'm using a Mac with Mountain Lion OS. Any solutions?

Check the papers that came with your PC or the web site of the vendor. OEM versions are either on the recovery discs they provide or can be downloaded from their site.

I have both an iMovie.app and iMovie 9.09.app on my Macbook Air. Can I delete one of these apps without losing iMovie? I need to free up space on my Macbook Air as I don't have any space left. I've ordered an external drive in order to move photos and video there to free up space. In the meantime I have to make some room for incoming emails and to open programs. I've already deleted some documents.

Aloha! I bought an iPhone 5 sprint via ebay, it has an iCloud id that was used to previous user. I don't have any contact with the previous user. I want to delete that email or id account that is now existing in my cell phone.
Again, you wasted your money. You can ignore raymond73's post, as you won't be able to turn off Find My Phone or delete the iCloud account associated with this phone, without knowing that info.

After you deleted, did you reboot? Press ad hold the home and sleep buttons until the apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider. Stuff you delete sometimes does not get flushed away until you do that step.
Have you resynced? If so, unless you changed your sync selection on I tunes, all the stuff you deleted was put back on during the sync.
If you goto settings, general, usage there will be the space available at the top. And if you give it a minute, it will list all the apps you have,a along with their size. If you tap any of the apps it will then show the data and documents associated with those apps. You were right to go after videos first, along with music. -
CS4 Admin "You don't have permission to edit this page"
I am new to Contribute. Created a website in Dreamweaver CS4, using templates, can put and checkin files, seems fine. FTP client has full access to all folders. Site in browser OK, Dreamweaver OK. Contribute starts and connects OK, access via FTP. I am the Admin. No lock files. For some reason Contribute won't let me edit most pages - getting error bar below Address that says "You don't have permission to edit this page". On some pages the bar is not there, but when I click on Edit Page button a dialog box pops up with the same message. I tried deleting the _mm folder and recreated the site admin info. Still no luck.
Does this sound familiar? Anyone know how to troubleshoot? Does Contribute write out debug logs? Any ideas what to try? Thanks!A bit more info, I hope it helps. We do not use Contribute Publishing Server. In Contribute I can create a new page derived from a template and publish it. If I try to browse to that page again it says I don't have permission to edit the page. We use FTP to connect. There is only one FTP account for the website, so it's not an issue of Dreamweaver logging in differently from Contribute. My standalone FTP client is FileZilla and I cannot view folder or file permissions directly in that program.

[Solved] ALSA "This sound device does not have any controls" XDJ-R1
Hey guys,
I have a XDJ-R1 which includes a 24bit 44.1khz USB soundcard that can be used to record audio from the mixer.
When I plug it in it's detected fine. However using alsamixer (or amixer) I don't see any audio controls for volume.
If I start pulseaudio it will detect the device just fine. However, at 100% volume the audio seems rather low. I'm seeing about -24db while my mixer shows the output at around +2db. I suspect the ALSA volume is rather low. But have no way of changing it as I can't seem to see any controls!

The device also supports playback into the mixer, but I assume this is designed for use in conjunction with using the device as a MIDI-Controller, which I don't have any intentions of doing.
What I've been doing to check the levels of the device is to play a track through the device (making sure that the VU meter for the channel is peaking at around 0db), record using `ffmpeg -f pulse -i 1 recording.wav` and then running `ffmpeg -i recording.wav -af "volumedetect" -f null /dev/null`
Which looks something like this:

I am getting an error message that "A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time" and I don't have any copy open. How do I correct this problem? This worked, I used the method described in this link http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=365156, and opened the Mozilla profile screen with the terminal on my mac, using the language given in the links. Then I duplicated my original profile to save the bookmarks, etc. Put them in a folder listed Duplicate profile with the date. With the open profile screen, I deleted my original profile, created new profile folder and then a new profile. Note that profile cannot be created in the system library, it must be created on the disc, because the library will not allow writing into it. After I created my new profile folder, I dragged all my old information into it, and it worked. Firefox closed and the error disappeared. You must be VERY careful to make sure Firefox is closed anytime you are doing anything with the profile folders. I think that is what caused my original problem.

You can look at the material stored and see what you don't need and delete. But a better way is to get an external hard drive and move large quantities of material to the external storage. That will free up internal storage capacity.
