I don't know what else to try to download iTunes! Please help!
I'm going crazy... I have been reading forums and troubleshooting pages for about 15 hrs and I do not know what else to try. I have 32-bit Win Vista and it will not let me download iTunes. I have run my anti-virus, my spyware remover, cleaned my registry, emptied my temporary internet files folder, restored my hard drive, and I tried turning off my anti-virus and spyware remover and then downloading... nothing works. First I was getting the pop-up box that said it does not recognize the publisher... when I tell it to continue anyway I get the "this is not a valid Win32 application" error. The past few times that I have tried to download it, I get an error that says the connection with the server was lost. I really don't think there is a problem with my connection. I hope that all made sense... I have been staring at this screen for so long that I can't think anymore. If anybody has any other suggestions to try, Please let me know!

Since installing iCloud, my iPhone 3GS no longer syncs with my Outlook2010 Calendar and Outlook2010 Contacts. I don't know what else to try, short of resetting the iPhone and completely reloading as a new device. Any ideas, anyone?
It's good to know. The Apple instructions for loading iCloud on a PC just seem to have either overlooked or hidden this limit. The larger problem is that it partially works: partially and erratically. So clean-up is great fun.

I have the new IPad and can't connect via bluetooth to any of my apple devices (IPhone 4s and appleTV) neither from my new IPhone 4s. When I turn the Bluetooth on, both devices keep in searching mode... I don't know what to do now... Please help... I can't pair any device because they can't find whitin themselves.

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My iPod mini, 4gb is hard to get serviced obviously because they dont make them anymore. Lately ive noticed that my bettery life has decreased so much that i dont even bother taking it out of the ac adapter that is in my outlet. instead of the suggested amount of play time, i get maybe 4-5 hours of battery life, maybe even 6 if im lucky. i thought that i might buy an attachment type accesorie that i plug into the usb port on my ipod to be allowed more battery life, but its just all too overwhelming and im really not sure about which one would be what im looking for. also, i dont want to have to go out and buy a new sord or two just to have this thing work. i found a product in the online store, that i guess you place the ipod mini on, and it gives you up to 20 or so more hours of time. but then it says that you have to have a firewire port or cable? and that just confuses me even more! can somebody PLEASE HELP ME!!! im really lost and dont want to have to spend 50 or 60 dollars on something that isnt going to work for me. im so fet up with apple right now. If someone could just please help me, i would be SOOOOOOOO............grateful!!!! Thank You!!!!!

It is as simple to get it serviced as the day you purchased it.

If you've had it less than a year, send it back to Apple to replace the battery.

It's called a dock connector, not a USB port.

What is it? The firewire port is on the computer, not the iPod.
If the original battery is going bad, the first thing to do is get that sorted out. -
Ipod troubles - don't know what else to try
I've had my ipod since 2004, and its always worked well. I used it a day ago, and set it on my desk. Today, when I plugged it into my computer to charge it came up with a message that I suddenly needed to restore my ipod.
Now my ipod makes a clicking noise, what I assume is the hard drive spinning then suddenly stopping, over and over. When I plug it in my computer my system locks up. I've tried to rename the letter of my ipod's drive, but going into the networking section just results in it saying that the (G)drive is unreadable.
So far the only thing I can do is reset it into disc mode. I've tried to format it by clicking on it in My Computer (the 2/10 times it shows up) but nothing happens.
The other two times I got it to let me get to the ipod updater to try to let me restore, the restore won't go through and it says it is unable to mount.
And then shortly after all this I'm getting a WMI error.
I feel like I have so many problems all at once! Anyone have any suggestions or is it just worth it to buy another one at this point..Hey there.
I bought the 2nd generation iPod a while ago. It broke. I've gotten five iPods from Apple because they have alll malfunctioned.
The latest one (4th gen) has been giving in as of late. I decided to screw attempting to get another one from Apple because they didn't want to give me one and wanted it serviced so I went out and bought one.
Buy a new one. Make sure you get a service plan! -
There's a black and white striped glitch on the left side of my screen on my Macbook Air! Its happened before and has been an easy fix, usually just restart or turn off my computer but don't know what else to do. Is there anything I can try now? I wont be able to make it to the Apple store until tomorow and would prefer if there was something I could do that didnt cost money, my computers very new and I really need help.

I'm trying to connect to my home wifi with my imac gh5. After I enter the password it says connection timeout or password incorrect. I know there's no issue with the connection but I don't know what else to do. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
What is the make & model of your home Wi-Fi router that you are attempting to connect your G5 iMac to? Which exact model of iMac do you have?
What wireless security type is your router using: WEP, WPA, or WPA2? If you temporarily disable wireless security, can the iMac connect to it now? -

Hard Reset.
- Hold down the Home Button (Circle button with White Square in it)
- Wait for the 'Slide to Unlock' screen pops up
- Test to see if the issue is resolved. -

My G RAID thunderbolt drive mounted just fine onto my iMac this morning. I copied some files from another drive onto the RAID drive, ejected it, and worked on another project for a few hours. When I went to mount the RAID drive again so I could work on the project associated with the drive (I'm a freelance video editor) it would not mount. I've tried everything. It boots up perfectly fine, the drive seems to have no hardware problems. It shows up on Disk Utility and in System Information but is listed as not mounted. I've verified it on Disk Utility and it tells me everything with the drive is fine. I've tried all the various restarting my iMac, ejecting and reconnecting the drive, shutting down the whole system and starting it back up, relaunching Finder, and nothing works. Starting to panic because this is a client's drive, I have no idea what the issue is, it worked perfectly fine only hours ago, nothing happened to it in the meantime, and I fear continuously connecting and ejecting it because I don't know what the state is with the data and if this is only going to further aggravate the problem. I've been up and down Apple and g-raid forums and can't get a straight answer anywhere. I need to know that the data is safe, the drive is undamaged, and how to get it to mount on my iMac. Can anyone out there help me with this??

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the adsl stats from your router you may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and navigate to adsl or if HH4/5 then go to troubleshooting then logs and you are looking for 2 line together when hub last connected to internet and they will show your connection speed and noise margin or if netgear enter 192.168.0.1). Then run btspeedtester (MAC users may have problems). when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post the results ( do not reset the router).
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

I just got a warning that the Itunes that I just downloaded (10.6) could impare or destablize my system- I have had Itunes on my computer before but when I plugged in my Ipod it told me I needed to uninstall Itunes and reinstall itunes all together. Now I don't know what to do. I have a Sony computer that runs on Windows XP and then I have an Ipad, Iphone, and Ipod that I sync everything with What do I do? Do I continue installing? And, if I don't install how will I ever get all my "gadgets" to work properly without being able to download Itunes 10.6? Need Help!!!! I'm not very tech savey...just a grandmother who loves her gadgets:)
