Hi, I have a problem. I use DAQ 6221 and when I configure in test panel of Measurement & Automation the edge counting, this is functional. Now I trie to run the code example of DAQmx ANSI C Dev, CntDigEv_Fn and the code ran, I hadn't problem, but the counter wasn't functional. I don´t know what's wrong. Please If somebody know, please tell me. It´s very important.

Hi,
The first thing that I would make sure is that you have the correct device number in the example you are trying to run. That is, the default for this program is dev1, and if this is not the same as in MAX then obviously your program won't run. So, make sure that these are the same, and let me know either way what happens.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I'm putting together a program that reads input from a text file and then decides what type of input it is (male or female) and then calculates the final sum for both.

I actually figured it out. I think some of you programmers out there would be proud of me if you saw this completed code. This forum has really helped me out, but I still make some stupid mistakes. Like the one I realized I made on this program seconds after I made this pose. I realized that I had an unknown character at the end of my input document, which you can't see in my post because I must have not copied and pasted that part. I would delete this post, but don't know how.

Go to device manager and expand the sound category. Is the sound card listed with an error? If it has an error, open the device and let me know the status message.

I Know Why Your Router Doesn't Work---Maybe!

Did your wireless router recently just die for unknown reasons? Did the computers and other items connected to it fall off?
Question... Did you recently install the newest updates from Microsoft? If you did, there is a real good chance that is what caused it!
After I installed the Component Services 3.0 updates from MS, my entire network blew up! Nothing connected, I lost my internet, etc...
I pulled my system back with an old restore point and low and behold, I was able to get my internet back... however, I was not able to get the router to work. After much consideration, I reinstalled the router software and tah dah, it works, and it remembered my settings.
Don't believe me. I just installed the Component Services 3.0 on my laptop this morning... and it lost it's internet connection too. I created a restore point just prior to installed the Auto Updates and (boy I'm glad I did) and again, ended up restoring to the prior save.

Like a two faces of coin . its true , there might be a small update in windows firewall or something which forced the first guy to loose the connection .

I can't figure out why the following doesn't work. I cannot debug for I do not have privileges on this server.
The execution always fails on bolded line. If I substitute the variable with the table name itself it works. The variable is properly populated in each of the iterations as I can see it by using dbms_output package. The small but may be important detail may be I am connected as user A but the tables are in the schema B. However I can list the tables and their columns in all_tab_cols view and there are synonyms made in my schema which allow me to access the B tables without prefixing them.

I'm new with flash and don't know why the timers don't work like i would expect. In VB.NET timers are how you move stuff, but it doesn't look like they are ideal for moving stuff in flash at all (really slow). I'm making a game in which you throw a ball around the screen. i am using a timer to get the ball to move. this doesn't work well for 2 reasons; 1: the ball jumps alot, and 2: the timer should eventually run out of time. If anyone can help, i'd be thrilled cus this is my first post here, so yeah

Timing for movement would be more often dealt with using something that operates at the frame rate of the file. The ENTER_FRAME event is usually selected for this purpose.

Windows 8.1 Keeps crashing! Blue screens and I don't know why.

My computer is crashing randomly. Happens once every few days or so. It started happening when I installed a new fan and heatsink. My cpu never goes over 50 C now so I don't know why it is crashing. Here is the dump file. Please help me :/

In order to assist you, we will need the .DMP files to analyze what exactly occurred at the time of the crash, etc.
If you don't know where .DMP files are located, here's how to get to them:
1. Navigate to the %systemroot%\Minidump folder.
-- %systemroot% is the environment variable for your Windows directory. For example, C:\Windows.
2. Copy any and all .DMP files in the Minidump folder to your Desktop, create a new folder on the Desktop to put these .DMP files in, and then zip the folder. You can then either use a 3rd party tool such as 7-Zip/Winrar, or you can use Windows'
default method of zipping folders.
Compress and uncompress files (zip files).
Please note that any "cleaner" programs such as TuneUpUtilities, CCleaner, etc, by default will delete .DMP files upon use. With this said, if you've run such software, and your Minidump folder is empty, you will need
to allow the system to crash once again to generate a crash dump.
3. Upload the .ZIP containing the .DMP files to Onedrive or a hosting site of your choice and paste in your reply.
Preferred sites: Onedrive, Mediafire, Dropbox, etc. Nothing with wait-timers, download managers, etc.
4 (optional): The type of .DMP files located in the Minidump folder are known as Small Memory Dumps. In %systemroot% there will be what is known as a Kernel Memory Dump (if your system is set to generate). It is labeled MEMORY.DMP. The difference
between Small Memory Dumps and Kernel Memory Dumps in the simplest definition is a Kernel Memory Dump contains
much more information at the time of the crash, therefore allowing further debugging of your issue. If your upload speed permits it, and you aren't going against any strict bandwidth and/or usage caps, etc, the Kernel Memory Dump is
the best choice. Do note that Kernel Memory Dumps are much larger
in size due to containing much more info, which is why I mentioned upload speed, etc.
If you are going to use Onedrive but don't know how to upload to it, please visit the following:

After doing that, to learn how to share the link to the file if you are unaware, please visit the following link -
Share files and folders and change permissions and view 'Get a link'.
If your computer is not generating .DMP files, please do the following:
1. Start > type %systemroot% which should show the Windows folder, click on it. Once inside that folder, ensure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to make a New Folder and name it Minidump.
2. Windows key + Pause key. This should bring up System. Click Advanced System Settings on the left > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Advanced > Ensure there's a check-mark for 'Automatically manage paging file size for
all drives'.
3. Windows key + Pause key. This should bring up System. Click Advanced System Settings on the left > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > System Failure > ensure there is a check mark next to 'Write an event to the
system log'.
Ensure Small Memory Dump is selected and ensure the path is %systemroot%\Minidump.
4. Double check that the WERS is ENABLED:
Start > Search > type services.msc > Under the name tab, find Windows Error Reporting Service > If the status of the service is not Started then right click it and select Start. Also ensure that under Startup Type it is set to Automatic rather than
Manual. You can do this by right clicking it, selecting properties, and under General selecting startup type to 'Automatic', and then click Apply.
If you cannot get into normal mode to do any of this, please do this via Safe Mode.

If it doesn't work with any sd card you insert into it then you can try a smc reset and a pram reset but if that doesn't work then the slot has failed. the only way to get that fixed is to replace the main circuit board, the logic board, which is very expensive. That is unless your mac still has a warranty on it then it would be free.
If you have no more warranty then just buy a sd card reader that connects to the computer by usb port.

I suspect in this case the problem is caused by your library and device having downloaded independent copies of the media, so that when the library connects to the device it copies over your purchases not realizing they are already in the library.
When deduping use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. Plug it in to power for at least 15 minutes. If it doesn't automatically come on, try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
