I dont want to sync my iphone again
i just loose my half itunes library files on my windows pc, thats why i dont want to sync my iphone again couse if i do that i gonna loose the music that is in the phone, and is not on my pc, is there some way to copy or something like that media items on the phone to the pc so i can have my lost media back ?
I believe songs that you've purchased through iTunes can sync back to your computer. I know it's a capability with iPods, and I believe it's doable with the iPhone as well. I would suggest you call Apple though as they'll be able to tell you for certain if the Sync back option is available on the phone.

hi i need help
hi my laptop with my itunes lubrary has crashed so i got a new one but i dont want to sync my iphone to the new laptop incase i lose all my songs on my iphone. how do i sync to a new one without losing everythingThe right way is to restore the backup that you kept of your old computer onto your new one. If it is too late for that before you do anything set up a backup process for the new one so when it crashes (note I said "when", not "if") you won't be faced with this problem again.
In lieu of that the apps already mentioned will help you get content off the phone if it was not purchased from iTunes. But it it WAS purchased from iTunes just connect the phone to your new computer, Authorize iTunes on the new computer and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes file menu. -
Every time I want to sync my iphone to itunes I have to uninstall and reinstall itunes on my pc. It will only ever find the phone once, then I need to go through this all over again.
How can I solve this? You'll have to do it by process of elimination. Sign into the iTunes Store through the App Store app, go to the Purchased section, and look at the list of apps purchased through your own Apple ID. Anything on your iPhone not in that list isn't yours and should be deleted. The same process would apply to content from the iTunes Store.
Or you can just restore the iPhone from your most recent backup and then redownload everything from the iTunes Store. But if you have a lot of apps or content, that obviously wlll be slow.
I updated my iphone by his ID , is it still problem?
That's probably how you got your friend's purchases. It won't be an issue for iOS, but it is an issue for those apps and content.

I only want to sync my iphone contacts with my pc, not the other way around
HELP!! This thing is driving me crazy! I dont want to sync everything from the pc to the iphone, just what I have on the iphone to the pc to make those contacts and calendar entries safe in case the dreaded happens.
Is there a way to do this? I have begun my 60day free trial of MoblieMe today and cannot seem to do this at all. I have found my Windows Contacts and I think I can enter people in there, but whats the point of that if I have to do all the work? Surely the point of syncing is that it will do it for me???
Does anyone know if it can be done from iphone to pc??
Many thanks
CatherineThe sync process for contact info and calendar events is a bidirectional or true sync process. You can't transfer only contact info and calendar events available on your iPhone only to the supported application on your computer. Contact info and calendar events available in the supported address book and calendar app on your computer and contact info and calendar events available on your iPhone will be synced so the info available on both is identical.
If you have a MM account, you need to sync the supported address book on your computer with your MM online address book first. After confirming your MM online address book matches the supported address book on your computer, follow this by enabling over the air syncing for contact info with your MM account on your iPhone. This will erase all existing contact info on your iPhone and replace it with your MM online address book info, and the same for calendar events.
If you have contact info available on your iPhone that is not available with the supported address book on your computer, you need to sync your iPhone's address book with the supported address book on your computer via the iTunes sync process first. Follow this by syncing the supported address book on your computer with your MM online address book. After confirming the supported address book on your computer matches your MM online address book, enable over the air syncing for contact info with your MM account on your iPhone. After this, your iPhone's address book will be kept synchronized with your MM online address book which is kept synchronized with the supported address book on your computer and vice-versa. -
I recently installed iTunes 11.0. Now when I want to sync my iPhone 3GS the software wants to add 256 contacts and 1005 items to my calendar, both on my Windows XP computer. I would assume that these are duplications. Is there some way to fix this? Alternatively, how can I reinstall the previous version of iTunes?
I have already authorized this computer with my Apple ID. I think this only allows me to re-download all purchased applications to the iTunes library again without re-purchasing them. However, iTunes still keeps asking me if I want to "erase and sync" or not.

There is no way to stop iTunes from doing exactly what it is designed to do.
The iPhone is designed to sync with one and only one computer.
If you have moved/copied your iTunes library from your old computer to your new one, then iTunes wiping your device is no problem. You would simply sync and iTunes will put all the content back. -
I have a new computer and want to sync my iPhone's apps. when I tell it to do so it says that all apps in my phone will be replaced by the ones in iTunes, but it's empty because it's new. If I do so will all my apps be deleted?
Transfer purchases over from your phone to your computer before you sync your apps. See Transferring Purchases for more details.

I can't figure out how to log off of my daughter's iTunes account that has been loaded to my PC. When I want to sync my iPhone, I get her data, not mine.
Hi, Abril_Perez17.
This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

I have an iPhone sync'd to my iTunes. My boyfriend has his own iPhone with his iTunes account set up within it. We want to sync his iPhone to my iTunes account on the PC but we want to retain everything from both phones and the iTunes account. Is this possible? Help!

No. If you connect his phone to your iTunes account/computer, ALL iTunes content on his phone will be erased. By design, iPhone syncs or manually manages iTunes content with ONE computer at a time. -

bought a new macbook air because my old computer is formatted. I want to sync my iphone to my new mac, so I can save the data on my iphone without losing data. how can I do?
You need to copy everything form your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. it simply mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced. -
I just bought a new macbook air. Now i want to sync my iphone to this computer. I copied all my songs and apps to the itunes. If I sync do i loose all my contacts and notes? because i could not copy it to itunes
You need to use the backup of your PC to transfer all the music files to iTunes on the Mac.
If you have no backup then you have a difficult task ahead of you as iTunes will only allow you to sync purchased music from the iPhone back into iTunes. Any music you loaded into iTunes yourself will not transfer from the iPhone to iTunes, this is to prevent stealing of music. To sync iTunes purchased music from the iPhone to iTunes, connect the iPhone and open iTunes, but when asked do NOT sync the device. then right click on the iPhone in the iTunes source list and select the 'Transfer Purchases' option, you will also find this commend in the File menu.
If you are in the US, you can use the new iTunes in the Could feature to redownload your iTunes purchased music / apps / books for free.
If you want to transfer all the content from your iPhone to you Mac then you will need to use Google to find a 3rd party piece of software that will do this for you. -
I have a new computer and want to sync my iPhone/iTunes. But it wants to wipe out what is already on my phone with another iTunes library. How do I find out what is in the "library" before I say yes to wipe out my phone and sync?
