I downloaded the trial of LR I can see it in my cloud but I can't open it....where is it to open?

I downloaded the free trial. I see it in my cloud but not on my computer. I need to open asap because I am working on three photo shoots. I just got a new Nikon D610 and would not work with my older LR HELP

There shouldn't be any problems synching an iBook to your iPad, since that's the only place you can read the book. First, do you have the iBooks app on your iPad? It's not installed by default; you have to get it from the iTunes Store (it's free).

Make sure in FaceFime>Video the correct Mic is selected
Also, go to System Preferences>Sounds>Input and make sure that mic is selected and the make sounds and see it the light light up with changes in volume.

Help! On my new iPhone 4S, I can see all of my music and vidoes that I downloaded from itunes that I had previously purchased on my iPhone 4, BUT I can not play any of the songs! When I hit "play" from my 'albums' and 'playlist' or 'songs' it looks like it is going to play the song when the song screen comes up showing the album but then the screen starts flipping from album to album or song to song randomly. Then after flipping thru anywhere from 10-15 songs, it stops and goes back the previous page showing my list of music.... I have synched my phone, restored it and downloaded all of my music and videos. The only things I can get to play from my iPod on my iPhone 4S is my videos, no music. Can anyone help me? I have been trying to figure it out for days and I am a bit frustrated. Thanks in advance for any help I may receive.

I can see and play the music from the imac, on the macbook. However, I want to add the music to the library on the macbook so I can have it even when the macbook is not "in range" for homesharing? How can I copy the shared liabary to the macbook?

To clarify my issue diesel vdub i updated itunes to 10.7 version after that every time i select some of my songs and click get info, it shows me a message that i tunes can't find the songs original location and a ! icon appears on the song selected after that. all my songs are in a external hard drive and it is connected to the pc and i can acces it but i really don't know what's wrong with the itunes or what it is

My document is blank when I open it in Pages, you can see it in page preview but I can't edit or anything, help?

I could see the contents of Pages & Numbers files is previews, but they were blank when opened. Apple tech support--in an hour long call--managed to find a fix for my issue. I hope it works for you.
Concurrently to the seemingly blank files, my computer happened to be slowing down & stalling a lot, but while related to the problem, I don't know that this is a necessary symptom of anyone else's.
We deleted all the cache files in the ~/Libary/Caches folder, & emptied the trash. It said some files were in use, so we restarted and finished the trash disposal. Then we started up Pages & Numbers, and it was all good! My computer went back to its normal snappy responses too.
I am sure someone could possibly narrow down which cache files might be causing an issue. But give this a try.
By the way, I am running Pages 9, on Mountain Lion 10.8.4 (recently updated) on a MacBook Pro. Disk Utility found preferences and disk verify normally. Activity Monitor showed no excessive CPU use and there was no shortage of hard drive space. The problem was reproducable in safe mode. Deleting plists for iWork had no positive result. As for the slowdown, sometimes the computer would get stuck in spinning beach ball mode for a while, or freeze. The only think that worked was the cache purge.

I can see other Macs on network, but I can't connect via afp, smb or Bonjour

I have a Mac Pro running 10.6.8, a Macbook Pro running Lion, an Ipad 2nd generation and an Iphone 4. All the devices "see" each other, but I am unable to establish a connection.
For instance: I can see the other mac in the finder, but a connection can't be made neither via clicking or using command + K
I can see my iTunes libraries in the remote app, but it wont connect to the iTunes library. Same with iChat: in the Bonjour network both macs see each other, but no message is delivered.
However, I can connect to the harddrive, that is connected to my airport extreme. Previously I thought my router was the problem, but now I exchanged it with this airport Extreme.
In another thread I read something about adding 10.0.1.* to "Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts and Domains" in the network proxy settings, but this did not help. Although I am not sure if I entered it right.
Any ideas how to resolve this problem?

Please turn off the Windows Firewall in the Control Panel for test:
Control Panel->type firewall in the search box->Windows Firewall->Turn Windows Firewall on or off->Turn off
Windows Firewall (not recommended)->OK
Then Make sure all computer
turn on the network discovery.
Also, apps that are managed from non-domain servers cannot see or control this Windows 7 machine
In addition, make sure the Server, Windows 7 and other comouter in the same network. Otherwise it can't be accessed each other.

IMac can see PC on home network but PC can not

I am trying to move files from PC to new iMac on my home network. The iMac can see the other machine but the PC keeps looking for the iMac. Is there a setting on the PC other than the firewall and updates that needs to be turned off?

Type Command + F on your keyboard. Then type in: Reset top right side of your Safari window just under your Bookmarks Bar then press return on your Keyboard.
Follow the instructions to reset your Airport base station.

Can't download the trial - checksum failure

I have now tried 4 times to download the trial of iWork 09. I have bought a copy but it hasn't shipped yet so I want to use the trial until I get the package.
Each time I have downloaded it has reported a checksum error when checking the DMG. Obviously from the comments here many people have downloaded it OK. Any one have any ideas or suggestions as to what might be wrong?
I am downloading onto a PowerMac dual 2Ghz. I have tried clicking the link and right clicking the link, save the linked file. 2G of bandwith used and still no iWork 09

I've tried 8 times now and am 3GB over my download limit for the month @£2 a GB....
I guess I will just wait for the Disc to arrive. I have never had this problem before and have tried all sorts to fix it. I even pulled the package apart with Pacifist and discovered it is a MobileMe support file that has the wrong check sum. And no an install from Pacifist didn't work either.
The fact that it is the same file in the package with the problem every time I download it really suggest that it is a problem in the package. I can't think of anything that would be causing my machine to balk at installing this when others are not having problems.

You can try and see - the new system might have wiped out memories of it on the machine.
Unfortunately, once you install it, the trial is started, so it's up to you to try while it's there.

Can see Library on new computer but can't play!!???

I bought a new computer and have installed iTunes. I can see my Library of music but I can't play it because it says I have already reached my five allowed computers to operate iTunes. My other computers have broken through the years and I have gotten rid of them. How can I play my music?

There should be no problem using the deauthorize all command and then reauthorizing the machines that you actually use, although bear in mind that you can't use that command again for a year.
Note too that authorizaton only affects iTunes DRM protected content. If you can't play anything then something else is going on...
See also this migrate iTunes library post. If you're planning to switch which computer you use to sync your device to you may have problems if you copied the media across and added it into a new library, rather than copying over the library as a unit.
