I downloaded the web developer tool bar and after using it my images are gone. I use google and a home page and the big google is gone. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it but I still don't have any images. How can I get them back?
Two days ago I downloaded the web developer tool bar (aus2.mozilla.com). I tried to use it but gave up. I deleted the tool bar.
I don't have any images anymore. I use Google.com as my home page (default) and the large GOOGLE isn't there anymore. I've also noticed some of the sites I use don't have the continue or next or enter keys anymore. It seems the only thing I have now is the text.
Are you sure you are looking at the Google page?? In Firefox 4.0 the default homepage / Start Page in Firefox was changed to '''about:home''' which looks a lot like the former www.google.com/firefox homepage.

Log into your iTunes account on the new comptuer and when you hook up your iPhone there will be a option to reverese sync your iTunes purchased content ONLY, back into iTunes.

For your camera, go to Settings>General>Restrictions and be sure that Camera is set to On. Don't know why you can't find FB, be sure you checked all your screens and inside all your folders.

Not for the iPhone. Go to Safari, go to maps.google.com, then add the bookmark to the desktop and you have most of what was in the native Google Maps app.

I tried Mozilla 'cause my Bank recommended it. I thought I could have 2 Internet Explorers so installed it & didn't choose the option of importing favorites. Is it possible to erase Mozilla & go back to Internet Explorer and get them back? Excuse my English it's not my mother tongue. Thanks a lot.

I updated to Mavericks yesterday and since then, my computer has been exceedingly slow!
Windows and applications take forever to open. I get the spinning pinwheel of death every few minutes.
The notes that were in the email app. are gone! where are they?!The notes are in the Notes application. Restart the computer and see whether there's an improvement in performance.

Try deleting the problematic book (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iBook store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iBook store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer. -
Folders have disappeared. How can I get them back?
Thunderbird has been reluctant to `start` recently and to-day I can send and receive emails, but the folsers down the left hand side, in which I store all the emails I want to keep has disappearwd. I have tried everything I can think of, but nothing brings them back. Please help.
After two & a half days of looking for an answer to my `lost` folders, I found the following:- To retrieve missing folders, start Thunderbird in `safe mode`by going to HELP & choosing "Restart with add.ons disabled".
It worked like a dream- everything was back to normal. I have to open Thunderbird in `safe mode`every time, because I am not sure whether to permanantly disable add ons. -
Stolen iphone 5c.
Unless you had created an iCloud account and set up 'Find My iPhone' on the phone prior to its being stolen there is nothing else you can do. That might allow you to locate the phone, provided it is on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network.
The IMEI and serial numbers can be used to identify the phone as yours if it happens to turn up; they can't be used to locate it. You won't hear anything unless it happens to turn up if an attempt is made to register or repair it, or it is found by the police in a raid on a suspected criminal.
You probably need to accept that it's gone: if it was insured you should of course contact your insurer. -
My short films have disappeared! How can I get them back?
After syncing my ipad, all of my short films disappeared! I looked through my purchases and everything i could think of...... Please help?
Unfortunately, this is exactly what is supposed to happen. Tones are not part of the Cloud, it is your responsibility to back them up.
If you are lucky, they may get regranted or something, depending on age etc. Try iTS and see what happens.

Do you have sound coming from the audio output port using headphones? If so, when the plug is pulled out, is there a red light?

"Reply" and "Forward" and "Move" have disappeared rom my email, so I have to go into "mailbox" in the top bar. How can I get them back?
under the "view" menu open custimixze toolbar. Then drag those from that list back up to your tool bar.

Upgrading to V4 has lost all of my Bookmarks, I still have the restore files in my profile data but they will not load, I have tried importing the html backup file too but it didn't work either. How can I get them back?
Ok this is bizzare!
Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :( -
I have a MacBook in Japan. I had to reinstall my system using an older version of the disc that came with my computer because I was locked out and now I can't get back any of my purchased applications, not any of the software updates. On my account it shows the purchases. How can I get them back? None of the websites, such as iTunes seem to explain that...
