I dropped my iPhone and the screen shattered.the screen is starting to become unresponsive when i try to unlock it and text. what do i do??

It was working fine for a week but i just want to know if apple would do anything for me? i dont have warranty unfortunately or icare. i just dont want to pay insane amounts of money cause they were stupid enough to make this phone glass....

You would have to buy an out of warranty replacement.
