There's no way to "restore" your phone, but, you can login to iCloud.com, using your computer, locate your phone, then erase it.

I bought iphone 5c phone on Ebay, the seller in the description specified that phone is completely cleared and ready to work. It appeared that the seller didn't disconnect function to find my iPhone and now I can make nothing with phone. I have an invoice about purchase, I can provide the page of the transaction and screenshots from phone.
I appealed to the seller to remove this device from the iCloud at distance, but he at all doesn't wish me to understand and speaks only about phone return, and it categorically doesn't suit me now.hexonxonx wrote:
I stand by statement that the iPhone is likely stolen
Whoopsie!
Another reason: You said he doesn't understand that find my iPhone is activated. If the phone was originally his, he would have known what it was since he had to turn on find my iPhone to begin with.
Doens't mean they know what FindMyiPhone is or that they even activated it.
Many (most?) users simply click thru without reading anything and don't have a clue what they are clicking on. -
i used find my iphone, and now my phone is disabled, but i found it, i dunno my activation lock but i know my apple id and password, so how do i unlock it?
maybe this will help

i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more. This has already happened once and i had to take it to the store. What should I do to fix this? Thank you so much for all answers. i really appreciate.
no so i dont know what happened

i went to update my iphone and now it says no sim grrrr and keeps telling me to connect to itunes which says no sim
Your iPhone is in recovery mode. Do the following to get it out of recovery mode.
Plug your iPhone into your computer with iTunes open make sure iTunes recognizes the iPhone in recovery mode.
Hold down the power button and the home button to do a hard reset and shut it off
Keep your finger on the Home button ONLY and unplug the iPhone from the cable
Release the Home button and allow the iPhone to power back on which may take a few minutes
The iPhone will return to its prior format
Hope that helps! -

I tried updating my iphone and now it says I have to restore my phone. I've never had this problem with the previous updates, I'm confused?
Same with me. The Upgrade hung up and froze the phone. Do the restore and then back it up when you get into iTunes from a previous save. It takes the better part of an hour our of your day depending how many apps and songs you have to get everything back together. It is a royal pain but I didn't lose anything.
Download a youtube app. It's not in iOS6. -
Dear everyone,
My phone battery had been going worse and worse until it was completely dead two days ago. I booked the schedule at the apple store before it died and I've just been there today. The guy at the apple store asked me if I had the back up and told me to sign in to my iCloud, I did, then he clicked on "find my iphone" and deleted my device (my iphone). I didn't have a chance to do anything. The only thing I'm sure is that my photos from my phone had been automatically synchronized and I would like to have them back. I can't turn my phone on so it's impossible to connect to the internet and sign in. Please help.Welcome to the Apple Community.
