How do i get Stereo Sound using the KONA LHE?

Ok I have a sony HDV HVR-M15 deck, connected to the KONA for video and the audio connected to a mixing desk.
The KONA is also connected to the mixing desk via analog audio XLR to Jack.
At the moment everything i capture is mono one channel sound, and can only play through one speaker. Is there a way to capture in stereo??
At the moment I am getting the KONAs 8 channels of audio, 2 of which are identical and 6 of which are empy!!

check the pan pot on the desk (the yellow pot just above the solo/mute buttons and fader)
on the left channel input from the deck turn the pot anti-clockwise all the way to the left
on the right channel input from the deck turn the pot clockwise all the way to the right
regarding (unwanted?) the multichannel input, launch FCP and open the Log and Capture window
click the clip settings tab in the right hand pane
how many input channels do you have selected in the Audio section
below that popup you can define whether those channels are captured as stereo or mono pairs by toggling the link icon at left of each audio pair level indicators

The template is a document in itself, it is not applied to an existing document whether it is a Pages document or a Word document converted to a Pages document.
You would need to either copy and paste content, using existing styles, or apply the styles to the converted Word document.
You can Import the Styles from an existing document and those imported Styles can be used to override the current document's styles:
Menu > Format > Import Styles
The process is simplified if the styles use the same names, otherwise you will need to delete the style you don't want and replace it with the one that you do want when asked, then the substitution is pretty straightforward.

If you have the iPhone in front of you, here's how you can learn the carrier:
Go to Settings > General > About and look at the "Network" row near the top. There's your carrier's name!

I just noticed this (in comparison to Internet Explorer): In IE, when you favorite a webpage, it uses the actual name of the webpage (for example, for this page, it would be "Ask a Question Firefox Help" as the bookmark name), but in Mozilla it uses the URL address as the bookmark name. I was wondering if it was at all possible to change my Mozilla settings in order to make it use the webpage name as the bookmark name instead of the URL address? I hope everyone understands what I'm getting at? If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

You shouldn't have to do anything at all, it should work right out of the box.
First thing to do + questions.
Open a new project, create an External MIDI track, set the track to record, start Logic recording, play a few notes with sustain pedal down/up a few times. Open Logic's LIST editor and look at the data being recorded. What are you showing for sustain pedal events? What numbers?
That will give everyone here an idea of what's going on.
Like I said.... I've never had to do anything.
Also, this could possibly be a problem with "Control Surfaces" assigning a non compatible control surface.
As a precaution delete the CS preference file.
With Logic not running:
Delete the control surfaces file.
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field. (be sure and use the ~ tilde in the path)
Press the Go button.
If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Pro.
then delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder.
The file is rebuilt next time you boot Logic.

How do I get Siri to use the right name when I use it to send emails?

I reset my user name in iCloud, and made sure that I changed the "My Info" to the right name. Everytime I send an email using Siri, the wrong name shows up as the sender.
I even deleted the wrong name from all of my contacts. Does it take a few minutes for the proper name to progate through the system?

the "rests" bit reminded of some post I'd recently seen with a similar issue. i couldn't find that one, but this one suggests that the interface itself may not be compatible with the current versions of OS X.
