I get the "moron of the week" prize....

It all started on Sunday when I couldn't remember the password on my Blackberry. I finally accepted that I was going to have to let it wipe out my memory.
I have set my device back up the way I had it with one exception.
My Facebook is not working correctly. I am getting notifications but I am not getting an alert when one comes in. And when I do click on the notification, it's not telling me who the comment is from. It simply says 'Facebook User'.
I know this should be a simple fix, but I cannot find it. What am I missing?

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-installing the FB application.

From where to get "First day of the week" data for all the locales, is it present in CLDR spec 24?

I am trying to get "First day of the week" data from CLDR spec24 but cannot find where to look for it in the spec. I need this data to calculate numeric value of "LOCAL day of the week".
This data to implement "c" and "cc" day formats that equals numeric local day of the week.
e.g if "First day of the week" data for a locale is 2 (Monday) , it means numeric value for local day of the week will be 1 if it is Monday that day, 2 if it is Tuesday that day and likewise.

How do I get the contents of the "note" field to display on the event in day and week modes?

I am a student and I take the reading and exam schedules from my class syllabi and put them in iCal so I only have to go to one place to see what assignments are due.
I put the class name in the event name field, the classroom number in the location field, and the day's assignment in the note field. When I view the week or day I would like the event box to list all three pieces of information but I can only get iCal to display the even name and location.
Does anyone know how to make the note also display?

Can you post a screenshot of the timeline? Which type of actions do the buttons (or click boxes?) trigger: simple or advanced or shared actions? Have a look at:

I suspect that your buttons get into their inactive part, where they will not be functional anymore.

Date - how to get the number of the week

I have a Date - string - w/e can be convered thats not the problem
but how do I get the number of the week cuz the database holds events per week so I need to know the number of the week.

Have you tried resetting your iPad?

Hi everyone, I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I have been very very frustrated by this problem. [I could not create new windows, and anything that opens new windows, such as trying to see what Add-ons you have etc would not work]. I read about changing screen alignment to the top... I have one screen so the option does not exist. The above messages would not fix this problem. I searched hard and did find a solution in the end. I read stuff about removing Add-ons until the problem is fixed, but its simply not the case.
First of all open Firefox. next go to options: Help --- 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'. Tick the box for add-ons, restart firefox. Next go to Tools --- Add-ons. Next (In the Add-ons Manager' click on 'Plugins' on the left hand side pane. Look for the small blue writing that says 'Check to see if your plugins are up to date'.
Now notice it should say 'Missing Flash'. "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version". I followed this, reinstalled Flash and it now works as it always did, no problems. For people where the above fix didn't work, try this one out. Hope it helps people!

As this may be a hardware problem, make a backup of your files onto an external drive with Time Machine (if you have important files) and take the Mac to an Apple Store or reseller, or contact with Apple > http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 You will get your Mac replaced or repaired for free.

How to get the date for the last day of a week?

Is there a easy way to get the date for the last day of week?
eg a week starts on monday and end on sunday
January 11, 2005 is the start date for the week
January 17, 2005 is the end date for the week
or
say
February 26, 2003 is the start date for the week
March 5, 2003 is the end date for the week
I just need a simple way of figuring that out....
I figured out how to get the start date for the week but just can't get the latter..
formatting of the date is not of a concern.. that I know how to do
