I got a message that says 5.01 update is available. It says press here to download. I don't want 5.01. How do I delete this message?

How can I delete this data? It just keeps piling up and soon will overshadow any other storage on my phone.
I don't send this data to apple (there is a toggle) nor do I wish to. I just wish to delete it from time to time.
Any ideas?

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it then contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

iTunes purchases cannot be transferred between accounts. If you no longer wish to use the old account at all, you should delete those apps and repurchase them with the new account.

This has nothing to do with your pictures. As long as LR works, nothing happens. The CC app merely has lost an entry in the installer database. Would a reinstall fix it? Sure. Is it necessary? Not really (until the next version or update). So unless you have too much time to spend or something isn't working, I'm sure you can find more interesting things to do with your tiem. Otherwise use the cleaner tool and get to it:

you just hold down on the apps and wait for them to wiggle and delete the ones you don't want...

How do I delete this message???

I accidentally made a duplicate post and now I don't know how to delete one... hopefully someone can delete this message or tell me how to do so. It doesn't seem to be very obvious...

You can't delete the post. If you're really concerned about it, you can report it in the Feedback forum with a link to the duplicate. Someone who is Level 2 or above can then report it to the Hosts for you. However, given the volume of the posts right now, it will sink into the back pages pretty soon.

Don't want the updated iWorks.

Software updates keeps pressing me to update to the new iworks and I don't want it. How can I say no thanks and keep it from forever bugging me again?

Download, install, then delete might work.
The app store would have a record of your 'purchase', but there'd be nothing on your Mac to update.
It's an off the top of my head suggestion that I have NOT tested, so wait a while for any suggestions regarding possible negative results before going ahead.

I have Firefox 19.0 on Mac OS 10.6.3. It downloaded an update and threatens to install it next time I run Firefox. How do I prevent this? I don't want it.

I used "Show package contents" to open Firefox.app, and I see a Firefox icon named "updated". Can I just delete this, or will it also remove Firefox entirely? If so, can I get my old version of Firefox back? Until I can figure out how to not install this update, I won't restart Firefox. Thanks!

- Delete apps, videos, photos and other stuff to get the necessary space.
- Go to Settings>General>Usage >Storage and you can see what is taking up space and yo can delete some items from there.
- Update via iTunes on your computer. Note all synced media like apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media is not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes as part update via iTunes does not included synced media.
