It sounds like you've bumped up against the 100 MB file size limit imposed by ExportPDF and Adobe PDF Pack. To extract pages from the PDF, you can use Acrobat (try it for free for 30 days, if you'd like!). Then you can even use Acrobat to export those pages to Word format by choosing File > Save as Other > Microsoft Word > Word Document.

Thank you for your suggestions. I downloaded a more recent version of Twain, but this didn't help. I also tried closing and opening Photo Shop and restarting my computer without success. Reinstalling Photo Shop sounds like a very promising solution, but I'm not sure I will do it. In the meantime I can scan items using a printer program. These scans open in Photo Shop. It is an extra step.

Subsequently most of my music and apps are missing from my iphone because it never finishes syncing. How do I fix this?

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

EVERYTIME I reformat I have to authorize the same computer and so it takes up one of my 5 authorized computers... Anyways after deauthorizing all my computers in september I was not aware I couldn't do it for another year (why does APPLE assume these stupid tactics prevent piracy). Anywysw I need to reach apple and have them make it so I can do it again. I had a similar problem with Playstation and when I called them they fixed it for me... even windows (which you can only have one serial per computer) made it easy because all I had to do was call them and they fixed it for me. Now I need APPLE to do the same and this is the only place I could see to actually say what is going on... I can't believe I have to do this with my iPhone... I wanted an mp3 player and a phone together and if I can't put new songs until September 20, 2012 I am going to freak out!

I downloaded a PDF viewer on my iPad and via itunes I can download the PDF to the iPad although for some reason the iPad comes up as 'RmoteTV' with a sub-directory of 'Books'. The 'PDFReader' app doesn't seem to find the file.

You can use the free iBooks to read PDF files. Download the app, use itunes to transfer the data then open the PDFs.
There are other pdf readers as well. I see good reader recommended and I'm sure there are more.

when ever u r trying to send work book across as a mail u will have only one default option ie excel sheet.i didnt see any option of exporting working as a pdf etc .

Hello,
Following is the procedure to convert alv output to spool and then it to PDF Format.
After we display the ALV, we can check whether it is running in the background using system field u2018sy-batchu2018. Then,we call an function module named u2018GET_JOB_RUNTIME_INFOu2019 to get the current job information. Then go to spool request table tbtcp to get the spool id.
Get current job details

Finally, we can call function module u2018CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDFu2018 to convert spool reqeust(which is stored in OTF format) to PDF format. Then we can call either function module u2018SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1u2032 or SAP BCS (Business Communication Service) to send the pdf as an email attachment.

How to get batch job o/p in PDF format and automatically saved to xyz loc

Hi Experts,
Our requirement is we want output of background job in PDF format and this PDF generated should be saved in some xyz path at OS level.
Why doing this?: Business don't want hard copy o/p of some batch jobs but only want to save this output in pdf format to some OS location for future use.
We could achieve above objective by archiving method (but for some reason we cant adopt it).
So guys please propose solution in detail regarding above problem "how to get o/p in PDF format and automatically get saved to xyz location"

Thanks guys for your invaluable advise.I asked abaper to use the above report for pdf conversion. But I have another problem that o/p of batch job should come in japanese language but when i check spool or hard copy o/p its not coming in readable form (seems something like machine language) . I dont what is the reason there must be some basis setting to get the batch job o/p in japanese language.
Please help me.
