I just got an iPod touch 5g for Christmas and last night I was FaceTiming a family member and I noticed my speaker sounded a little wired, like it blew out which I don't even know how I did it! I never have it up full blast! Does the 1 year limited warrenty cover it?
If you are in the US you can see if there is a genius bar by going to http://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar and then click on Make a Reservation at the top and you can search state, city and see how far they are from you.

As major software releases go iOS 7 is amazing? Many requests for support found on these boards are solved via advice related to How To Do Something. Many times the advice is right out of the User Documentation provided by Apple. If someone were to compare the number of critical issues reflected across these posts vs. most other major releases from any major vendor ...iOS 7 is excellent.

Good morning. Getting notifications that you are close to exceeding your allowance can certainly be alarming. It would be my pleasure to help put your mind at ease.
I understand you are not streaming movies, music, etc. Which these features will use a lot of data. Are you using the Mobile Hotspot on your phone. This may also cause you to exceed your data allowance quickly if you do not power if off after you are done using the feature. To turn off mobile hostpot tap settings>general>personal hotspot>off. Do you have any third party applications that you have installed that may be running a lot of data?
To ensure applications are not consistently running in the background do the following press the menu button at the bottom of your phone twice. All the open apps will then appear. Select and hold the bottom of the screen. A minus sign will then appear in the top left of each app. Select each minus sign to close out the application.

No sound through stereo headset
Inspect the headset jack for debris and clean if necessary.
Connect the headset and make sure the connector is pushed in all the way.
Check the volume setting. Adjust the volume by pressing the volume up and down button on the left side of the iPhone.
If you are trying to listen to music and cannot hear any audio, make sure that the music on iPhone is not paused. Try squeezing the headset microphone to resume playback. Additionally, from the Home screen you can choose iPod > Now Playing, then tap Play.
Make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed on the computer that you are syncing the iPhone with (songs purchased from the iTunes Store using earlier versions of iTunes won't play).
Try another Apple headset (some third-party headsets require an adapter to be used with original iPhone).
Try a different song or video.
Check to see if the iPhone alert sounds or other iPhone sound effects exhibit the same audio issues.
Disconnect the headset from the iPhone and see if sound comes from the built-in speaker.

The condition of your current phone has nothing to do with upgrading to a new phone with your carrier. You aren't trading it in - you keep the old one. It can be smashed to bits and that won't matter.

Take the SIM out and reseat it. Was your phone jailbroken or unooficially unlocked? If so then when you upgraded the phone locked again to the original carrier. If that is the case you need a SIM from that carrier to use the phone or you could contact that carrier and have them unlock it for you

Could someone please help me, I bought my daughter an iphone 4s for her birthday yesterday and I set it up for her so she could use it straight away, now we share emails, facetime and when i download an app she gets it too, very annoying for us both.
you can use the same apple id for purchasing apps and music if you want, but turn off automatic downloads. it may be better to have separate ones, but if you want the same app you'd have to pay twice. that's something you'll have to think about. for all the other stuff like facetime and messages and icloud you need to have separate icloud id's. see the apple link below.

I've done all of these, even trying a different USB port, and still, nothing. This is really confusing. Windows 8.1 said something to do with USB malfunction or something and nothing works. I need to restore my iPhone quickly and nothing has happened. My cable is not genuine Apple product. iTunes makes the noise that it makes when I connect the device, but it doesn't say 'iPhone is in recovery mode' or even say 'iPhone' in the corner. I am really fed up and would really appreciate a response.

We have two types of Ipods. A nano generation 5 & a nano touch, and we are unable to download music to them was told its because we have an Acer Android tablet. Could someone please help us in solving this issuses cause we just bought these ipods and was not aware that and all we have is this tablet. .. Please help us

Angs78, you purchase music from iTunes on the iPod touch. I know of no way to get music on the Nanao from the tablet. -
I have a mac book pro and when I turned on iChat it would not let me video chat with more then one person even though I was able to in the past. It only showed an icon to video chat with one person. Please help!!!! ASAP
Hi,
Check the iChat Menu > Preferences > Video Section > Bandwidth setting.
iChat needs to see a Minimum of 128kbps to do 1-1 chats in Video
For 3 and 4 way chats it needs 384kbps
Set the Bandwidth to 500kbps if it is set lower.
Also check the speed you are getting from your Internet supplier.

My iPhone 4s refuses to play sound when the headphones are not in. When the headphones are in however, it works perfectly fine! This is most annoying, could someone please help me I have not dropped it and it has not been in any contact with liquid.

Sounds like you may have a harddrive issue. You are probably going to need to get that changed out and then install the OS X again to get it going.
