You can only import photos from the camera roll into the computer. Is that the album that you are seeing?
Any albums that you create on the device itself (the iPad that is) cannot be transferred to your computer. iPad created albums do not contain copies of your photos but merely pointers to those photos so they do not actually exist in those albums.

The iPhone remembers information about previous contacts.
Complelely independently, you have a Contacts app with a contacts list. It sounds like your contacts list has 3 names on it. You need to add a few names.

Safari will not let me scroll down the page , it defaults to the top, this seems to have started after moving to Maverick.

I recenty upgraded to Maverick, I now find Safari has become erratic , it will not allow me to scroll down on a page it keeps defaulting back to the top , I do not have the same problemc with FireFox, only Safari.
I have tried restarting with a holding down option command PR and it did not help.
Thoughts ?

Thanks for the reply. I did what you said. And the Time Warner page AND the dnsrsearch.com disappeared. However, now I still do not get Safari when I touch the Safari icon. Instead, it goes to a plain white page with an Apple icon, a Disney icon and ESPN icon and a Yahoo icon in a straight row across the top (under time and such and under a shaded out bar that says "Search or enter an address".) If I touch the search bar it DOES give me a keyboard below. and I can search now, but nowhere does it say that I am on Safari. (I believe there was a shaded out word google on the grey bar, but not sure) AND -- why do those 4 icons appear in a row left to right on a blank white page when I click the Safari button? It really is truly bizarre. Never did that before. It went to Safari, lol.

I tried to shut down my Mail application and it does not shut down. Now they system is hung and I am not able to shut down the computer. I keeps telling me to close down mail first but, is was requested only won't happen. Can't open mail either. Help.

The system seems to be hung. Mail app will not close and therefore, I am not able to shut down my system. Also, I am not able to open Mail either. Anyone able to help me fix this issue?

My mac machine has firefox installed and updating is not possible as connecting to the server message comes and updates never occur.

I get a message that updates are available. When I click to get updates , i get a window that updating firefox and connecting to the update server. Even after long time, the process goes on . Updates never get installed. My version installed is 4.0.1 on Apple Mac Book Pro.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I have never had an iPhone before and I want to make sure I can share my music correctly without erasing anything.

If you want to have the music and apps in your iPhone, i suggest setting up from backup.
You can also always manually install them back even if you do a set up as new.

In Apple Mail, the "All" selection has disappeared so I cannot search All Mailboxes. I can only see "Inbox" "Sent" "Flagged" and "Drafts" as search options.

There used to be an "All" selection before "Inbox" -- How do I get it back? I rely heavily on searching All mailboxes.

Text Starts Scrolling down the page when i type

Im a law student and take an extensive amount of notes in class on my laptop. I tried switching from MS word to Pages, but intermittently run into problems that have caused me to stop using pages. Ill be typing, and all of the sudden my notes will start scrolling down the screen rapidly. ill look up a few pages and ill see it inserted a HUGE gap between the first word i typed and the second, usually about a page. My notes instantly turn from ~14 pages to~20+ every time i type an additional letter. I try closing the document, reopening it, no luck. I can then not use that file any longer, and start a new one. One the new one, same thing, after about 1-3 pages of typed notes, it starts scrolling down the page again. any ideas?? i really want to use pages, but can't until it stops this nonsense. thanks in advance

Is this a blank page on which this occurs, or has it been formatted with vertical numbering? I use Pages extensively and have never run into such a thing. It almost seems like a sticky 'return' key. If there is some other formatting, there may be an 'image wrap' occurring that would make it jump beyond the image to the next page.
It's a curious dilemma.

Can i make a button change anchor link when you scroll down the site?

I am trying to make a scroll site.. and i have navigation buttons on the right, a full menu, but also a "1 topic up" button and "1 topic down" button.
Is there any way that i can have those buttons change anchor link when you scroll down the site.
Example:
I am at home, then i press "1 topic down" and gets scrolled to the next topic on the website, but then i cant make the button change to link to the anchor below that, so the button becomes useless after that 1 press.
Is that in any way possible in Muse to make it change link?

You can try to create different buttons on page positions where down scrolling will be active with separate button actions. For example you click on "I topic down" , page scrolls and there is another button placed with "Next Topic down" , on click this would scroll the page more and similarly along the length of page.
Button with anchor link scrolling down the page cannot be used for different anchor links, creating different buttons with anchors is the solution.
