You haven't enabled VoLTE (Advanced calling) have you? Not that it makes a difference just curious.

I just purchased an extreme. I have an express. The sales guy recommended setting up a hot spot with the express and use the extreme as a base station. What does he mean and how do I do this? What are the advantages? How do I set this up?????
I think he means to set up the main extreme as the main router or "main base station", and then use the express to "extend" the network.

I recently got an iphone 5S and my songs not purchased from iTunes are grayed out (phone only) and are skipped past when playing them through my iPhone. i have tried the following:
1) Removing all music from phone and resynced to iTunes PC library.
2) Erased phone and restored from back up
3) Erased phone and started as a new iPhone
4) Reformated the music files in my library that weren't playing
5) Deleted songs from iPhone and computer and re-imported CDs
6) Tried to redownload my COMPLETE MUSIC LIBRARY from iCloud.
7) I have also turned it off and turned it back on several times
8) I tried syncing through my macbook (only moved partial songs to it to see if it would even work).
9) I have tried to get Siri to play them, did not work.
10) All music does play fine on my iPod Touch 3rd (iOS6 i think) gen and iTunes on Mac and PC
11) I added a CD to my roommates iTunes and it plays on their iPhone 5S but not mine.
After all of these things it is now WORSE!!! My iTunes purchased songs are now experiencing the same issue along with some (not all) of the original music files that were skipping and grayed out. My conclusion is i have no clue at this point! I have done everything i have found online in EVERY discussion, i have spent over 60 hours trying to get this to work and i am asking myself, i bought this product why am having to fix this when it worked just fine on my iPod touch (3rd Gen) and iPod Classic!!!! PLEASE APPLE FIX THIS ISSUE FOR US!!!!I had this problem too after i upgdatd to OS X Mavericks... only the songs on my iphone 5s that i purchased from itunes would play.
i read something about it being a syncing issue. when you plug your phone into your computer with the usb cable, the person said to switch from automatic syncing of itunes to the "manual" option. mine was already set to manual so i wasn't sure anything would work. BUT, when i plugged my phone into my computer, it started to sync all of my music on my phone again (top of itunes bar where song playing/time is listed said "now syncing 123/534 songs to x's iphone"). once that was completed, i checked the music app on my iphone and everything was back to normal!
so, i would suggest setting your music syncing settings to manual if you haven't tried that yet!

I have had no choice but tok reconfigure my computer and couldn't back up my itunes, how do i do this in new zealand, i have downloaded i cloud but this does not seem to work due to being outside the USA.
Currently you can only re-download music purchases in the US, it hasn't been rolled out to the rest of the world yet. Have you not got a backup of your purchases on external or flash drives or CDs/DVDs ? If so then you can copy that back onto your computer and add them to iTunes.

Songs and ringtones are different types of music files. The file extension of Songs is mp4 and that of ringtones is mp4r. They are not interchangeable. You need to download the ringtone you want or convert the file with a ringtone creator app of which they are many for free in the App Store.

I have an iphone 4s. I have a good signal and 3G but making and receiving calls is intermitent. I don't realise the phone is not working until I try and make a call and it fails. Or I try calling my own phone and it doesn't work.
What carrier are you on? Are you on prepaid in Europe?
Does the call complete to the carrier's hotline?
Does data work?
Do calls work on a different tower? -

Just upgraded to ios 4.3 on four iphone 4 and now cannot receive or make any calls.
Been onto Apple who have been very helpful but cannot find what is wrong, they have agreed to supply new phones (what nice people) network is O2To be honest these are the solutions that may or may not work.
First thing I would try is rebooting the phone by holding the sleep/wake button and home button for 15 seconds until you see the white apple logo.
If that doesn't work I would restore from backup. Try restoring as new. If all that doesn't work obviously you said your getting new phones. -

I have a 2nd generation iPod that won't do anything but display the Apple logo for a brief second then an image of the cord suggesting it should be connected to iTunes. I tried to restore it via iTunes but I get an Error: 1611. It does nothing else. I tried turning off using both buttons...nothing. Any suggestions?
