I have a serial number but I cant find the associated product in the serial number upgrade screen
I am trying to Install Adobe Acrobats XL standard. Installation goes fine until It brings up a screen titled serial number upgrade. It gives me a drop down list of products to choose from except for the one I have purchased. Can anyone help explain what I am doing wrong or what the issue may be?
From what you describe you have purchased an upgrade version of the software. To use an upgrade requires that you own an earlier version (also called a qualifying version). The screen you are describing is asking you to select that older qualifying version as well as to indicate its serial number as proof that you qualify to use the upgrade version.

If you are using a Mac, simply hit Command-Spacebar to bring up Spotlight Search. Begin typing the name of the application and when you see what you are looking for, press enter. "Extended" network means your phone is picking up towers from another carrier that Sprint has an agreement with. Long story short, Sprint does not have adquate coverage in the area where you are located when you see "extended".

The internet pages don't display properly I'm using osx10.3.3, yahoo for example asks me to update, but I cant find out how, as the apple store just keeps sending back to the same page with no down load option...do i need to up date or is it just my mac
What Mac model do you have? You might be able to upgrade the OS to Tiger 10.4 or Leopard 10.5.
Even browsers for Tiger 10.4 will get the update message.
You could try a newer browser than Safari, which is obsolete, by downloading Firefox v2.0.0.20 at http://www.oldapps.com/mac/firefox.php

If it is no longer in your country's app store then you won't be able to re-download it. If you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes or on a backup of your downloads (if it's only on your iPod then you should be able to copy it over to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases) and you can then sync it to your iPad.

HollyAir Play needs a way to get the content over to your TV (It's a WiFi streaming audio/video protocol that's built into iOS, to oversimplify things a bit). Typically, you would purchase an Apple TV (http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/apple_tv?mco=MTM3NTM1Nzk) and stream the content from your computer, iPhone, iPad, etc. to the TV. AirPlay can also be used to stream audio to compatible audio systems or an Airport Express with audio out that is linked to a stereo system or speakers.

Thanks for your response to my question, I see your point and will do that, however, I have another folder that was created before I had a Mac, which has all sorts of lovely titles and labels and some of those pictures I brought over to my ibook when I first started. So there are some duplicates in my iphoto library that I already have backed up in that other folder. I guess I shouldn't really obsess about those. I guess I am just nervous about deleting all my prior iphoto library, but I should have faith that it will all be there in my pictures library. Just trying to clean up the virtual mess.
I'll hold my breath and take the plunge.

Your email won't have the same confirmation number as it was ordered over the phone. You will need the last name used for the order, the location code (this ends in 01) and an order number (five to six digit number). Please keep us posted if you need further assistance with this.

My computer died. I have a back-up but can't find a list of my adobe products, where to download or how to find my product keys. Can anyone help? Adobe telephone help don't want to know and their automated system just hang up.
As long as you registered your products, you can follow the following to get the S/Ns: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload. The logging into your account at adobe.com with your adobe ID should provide you a list of all the products and S/Ns that you have registered. Depending on the products, the downloads may or may not be available any longer. You indicated you had a backup and I hope you meant of the install files that you previously downloaded. You should always keep backups of downloaded software you have purchased.

Like most online purchases you would normally receive the order number before the order is processed so you should be patient and allow some time for the processing to happen. If you feel you have waited long enough then you should contact Adobe Support directly and try to get information on your order since you now have a reference for it that you can share with them.

Also you can use System Profiler (in Utilities, also can access through "More info" in the "About this mac" window -- click on the "apple" in top left corner). In the Profiler click Hardware on the left and look at the info in the right panel ("Serial Number (system)").
