My computer died. I have a back-up but can't find a list of my adobe products, where to download or how to find my product keys. Can anyone help? Adobe telephone help don't want to know and their automated system just hang up.

As long as you registered your products, you can follow the following to get the S/Ns: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload. The logging into your account at adobe.com with your adobe ID should provide you a list of all the products and S/Ns that you have registered. Depending on the products, the downloads may or may not be available any longer. You indicated you had a backup and I hope you meant of the install files that you previously downloaded. You should always keep backups of downloaded software you have purchased.

    It's probably the MacDefender scareware trojan horse. If you have this here is how to remove it.
    1. Open Activity Monitor look for MacDefender process double click on it and hit quit or force quit.
    2. Go to System Preferences, Go to accounts, Go to login items look for anything related to MacDefender hightlight it by clcking on it once. Then hit the minus sign to remove it.
    3. Go to applications folder and drag MacDefender to the trash.
    4. Open finder and do a search for Macdefender and remove anything you see related to MacDefender.
    5. Open Spotlight (the little magnyfing glass in the menubar far right corner) and do a search for MacDefender.
    6. Restart your computer and empty trash.
    7. If you feel you need to have virus protection for your Mac use ClamXav. It's the recommended AV program for MacOSX. Hope this helps.

    You can use your serial number to convert the trial version in to full version

    Since it's registered...how/where do I find this verification...

    I checked the status of the server and hard drive by booting off of the 10.4 installation disk, select utilities and disk utility.
    I know very little about terminal, however I'm pretty good at dos so I can figure some things out if given some commands.

    I had purchased LOG TEN PRO UNIVERSAL, from the app store and had it installed on the iPad 2 , it worked great . Now I have purchased an iPhone 5 and I want to install the LTP UNIVERSAL INTO THE IPHONE but , in the app store It seems that I have to repurchase the app for some reason,this shouldn't be the case since the app clearly can be installed on an iPad n phone together , I don't know what to do about it .     You should be able to re-download LogTen Pro from the Purchases section of the App Store. To find this, open the App Store on your iPhone, and tap the Updates section. At the top of the Updates screen there will be a "Purchases" section, and tap this to enter it. Make sure that you are logged in with the same Apple ID that you originally used to purchase LogTen Pro, and it will display a "download/cloud" button. Tap it, confirm your password, and it will download again.
    This "Purchases" section has been known to be a bit buggy -- try logging out and back into the App Store on your iPhone if you don't see it.
    The App Store handles all sales and customer information, so your proof of purchase should have been sent by them. It is usually emailed to you from "iTunes Store" with a title: "Your receipt No. ##########".

    I downloaded the trial version of PS and Ill then dragged it to the trash when I was trying to install CS2 that I have on disc from older computer.  It doesn't install and I know that it won't so now I joined the cloud membership and went to download my software again, PS and Ill but it won't download.  The Cloud app thing says that I have the software.  I need help quick and i need to start using the software.  Thanks

  • Time machine chose wrong version to back up but can't find the correct one now!

    In a nutshell
    - Imac HD crashed and we replaced it.
    - data backed up on ™ but 2 versions one for iMac and one for a Macbook we have
    - did restore of data to new HD but no option to pick which one was restored and it did the Macbook version
    - most important issue is the iMac version no longer visible on ™ and it seems to have created a new version of Macbook data
    - it's the iMac data we need and can't "see" on ™
    Any ideas?

    The question pretty well describes the problem. I had to replace my HD and am in the process of reinstalling everything. I now need to resync my Firefox bookmarks and need to pull them from the big cloud in the sky.
