I have a wireless bluetooth keyboard and it doesnt flash the usuall green when it is turned on. I was doing playing video games and my keyboard suddenly didnt work and i checked for the green light and it was off. I tried changing batteries. Pls help.
I was using my key board when it suddenly stopped working. I changed the batteries and still no luck. I also tryed to manually connect the keyboard back to bluetooth but that also didnt work. I thought about the time when there was a battery leak in the keyboard and that could be the problem but i question it being able to work with the battery leak. It also isnt lighting up green in a little hole on the right side coner of the keyboard. I dont have a backup keyboard and i cant log in to the computer without it. It could possibley be that the keyboard completely doesnt work and i dont know if it does. Please Help.

Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard no longer works after OSX update
After installing the latest OSX update yesterday (something about iChat encryption), Apple Bluetooth Keyboard no longer works with my iMac.
When I restarted the iMac after installation was completed, the iMac would no longer recognise my Bluetooth Apple wireless keyboard. I've tried with 2 other Apple wireless keyboards as well, but to no avail. None of them work with the iMac any longer. All 3 keyboards work with my PowerMac Quad G5 though.
The iMac "sees" the keyboards, but the pairing doesn't go through because the iMac doesn't seem to recognise the keystrokes when entering the pairing code.
I had to go out and buy myself a Microsoft wired keyboard to be able to restart the iMac (couldn't enter the login password without a keyboard).
My bluetooth mighty mouse works flawlessly though.
Very frustrating. Can anyone help?

I have a pioneer vsx-910-k and airport express.I have a wireless network at home. What's the best arquiecture/config to do with this hardware?
I would suggest that you connect the Pioneer to the AirPort Express Base Station using an optical digital audio cable that has a TOSlink connector on one end and a 3.5 mm optical connector (Mini Plug) on the other. You can then connect the Mini Plug end into the AirPort's audio port and the TOSlink end into one of the Pioneer's optical digital audio ports.

My apple bluetooth keyboard has stopped working. The top row of keys works and the iPad sees the bluetooth keyboard (the bluetooth icon is active) but the other keys do not work. For the past coupld of days I have carried my keyboard in my computerbag without turning it off and I am thinking I have done something to make the letter keys to stop working. Two days in a row I did turn on the music as I carried the computer bag into work so I know that some keys were being activated.
*UPDATE*
I have been able to use the Zoom function to zoom in and the keys on the top row no longer are in the non-responsive strip of area. -
My wireless Apple keyboard won't connect, it just keeps blinking to pair, but nothing connects. I even tried hooking up another wireless I have and it does the same thing. Should I delete it and set it up again?

I have to switch bluetooth on and off to use bluetooth keyboard??
I'm using an iPad 3G 64GB with my Apple bluetooth keyboard. Everything works great, but one thing annoys me. If I'm using the bluetooth keyboard and then walk away from my desk and lay in bed with my ipad, I cant bring up the software keyboard without turning bluetooth "off." But, if I take my ipad to work (without my keyboard), then bluetooth can be "on," and the software keyboard works fine (because I'm out of range of the Apple keyboard).
I want to be able to leave bluetooth "on" all the time.
Is there any way to force up the software keyboard without switching bluetooth "off" or physically bringing it up using the bluetooth keyboard?I have the same issue. I know you can turn bluetooth off in "settings" or turn off the apple wireless keyboard when it's near the iPad and it will disconnect.
However, I'm using this for business and I have the autolock turned on. If I'm using the iPad with the wireless keyboard, and I pack up for the day to go, without turning the settings off or the wireless keyboard off, the next time I pull up the iPad, the autolock screen comes up with no place to type (software keyboard). If I don't have the wireless keyboard handy, there is no other way to turn off the bluetooth, or bring up the software keyboard.
There really should be someway to address this. Perhaps when the autolock shows up expecting the wireless keyboard, you could double tap the screen and the software keyboard would appear and/or ask you if you want to turn off the bluetooth connection for the keyboard. -
I have a Targue Versavue bluetooth keyboard that has worked perfectly for 2 years. It lost connection yesterday. I charged the battery but it still won't connect. I just get a blinking blue light. Help ??

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Is there any way to connect my Apple wireless/bluetooth trackpad and keyboard to my Mac Mini without using a wired or usb keyboard?
Well, I read that already, but I am trying to start up my Mac mini(new purchase) and I cannot get to all the system preferences etc since I cannot get past the startup screens. The site also mentioned waiting to turn on the keyboard until a language was requested. Neither language screen worked. I feel as though I'm just about ready to throw in the towel.

Installed new hard drive in imac and i get folder with question mark, put in OS install disk and it does nothing? All I have is wireless key board and mouse, is this an issue?
Other than put disc in you don't give much info about what you've done. With the install disc inserted restart your Mac while holding the C key, that should start it up from the install disc. Should also work fine with a wireless Apple keyboard.

I accessed the email on my phone and I wanted to know if I need to restore my iphone back to default settings? I am a bit worried about losing everything on my phone if I do this but at the same time I don't want them to get any other information. Any ideas?

If not, you have nothing to worry about.

I have an Apple Bluetooth keyboard that locks up my iPad whenever I turn the keyboard on. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.
If you are sure that the battery isn't empty, then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Hi when I stream video content to my Tv using Apple tv from my Ipad3 I find the Ipad goes to sleep after 2/3 minutes and disconects, the only way I have found to stop this is to continually tap the Ipad screen but there has to be a simpler method/ any help would be most welcome.

Wireless/Bluetooth Keyboard - last battery stuck inside
I now have 3 of these keyboards ... the
small wireless bluetooth keyboards that
unscrew on the end and take 3 AA batteries
... and now two of them have the last
battery stuck in the end of the unit,
either stuck, frozen, rusted, corroded and
there seems to be absolutely no way to
convince the little bugger to exit.
I even went so far as to squirt WD-40
inside around the stuck battery, let it
soak in and try to decellerate it out the
opening by slamming it against a doubled
over mousepad. No luck.
Since I have a 66% failure rate on these
things, I would guess that some other
people might be having this problem as
well and may even have thought up a
solution to it. Anyone ???I JUST got my batter out! Wd-40 did the trick for me. I had to spray it a few times--the last one being quite heavy, as I figured it was my last shot before giving up and just tossing it. Lo and behold, with just about 10 hard bangs, I noticed it started getting closer to the opening (very slight). Before long, it was totally out. Now, I'm using a hair dryer to dry it out. Looks like the bottom came loose a little--will reply if the keyboard still works! Debating whether or not to try new batteries so soon or let it sit for a few days. The anticipation will probably kill me...
