The situation is as follows: I was using an O2 Pay as You Go but suddenly noticed that it was costing me 14 pence a text which as I am very hard of hearing I prefer to use rather than the telephone. I then saw an advertisement for a BT package offering unlimited texts plus other things for £5.00 a month so I gave that a go. I then discovered that for 90% of the time I was unable to get a signal from my living room where I do most of my texting so I dumped BT and took an O2 package with unlimited texts for £8.50 a month. Having said that I don't understand why I need to be careful about MMS charges if I send what in my lack of knowledge I would refer to as a multi address message. As you can see I'm new to this mobile telephone thing and I really appreciate the help I'm getting from this Forum.

I have bought acrobat for my desktop, but also want to use it on my laptop when a travel.

Anyone know whether I can also download acrobat which I have on my desktop to my laptop for when I travel.
Or do I have to buy a second copy? If I can copy it, how do I do it?

Your license allows you (personally) to install on two computers of the same type (Mac versus Windows), for use not at the same time (but not to share with any other users of the computers).
Be sure to keep the downloaded installer - make a backup on CD. One day you'll need to reinstall and who knows if it will still be available for download.

Open Mail>Preferences>Accounts, the first page has this on it
If you click on the server name in the box (gmail in your case I assume) it opens and reveals this:

Go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign into manage your apple id with any apple ids you have access to and see if you're account is either an alternate email address or a rescue address. If it is, remove it. Have family members or friends check theirs, if they have apple ids, just in case.

I am trying to stop using my I-pod under my husband's I-Tune account. It was set up under his account and the only way I can use it under my account is to erase all of the songs my husband loaded on for me. I had heard there is a duration that I-Pods are locked into to one account only, and I am trying to discover how I can use my account without having to erase everything on the I-Pod. The last thing you want is a second iCloud account. Try logging out and back in in System Preferences. If that doesn't work, I'd get AppleCare on the line.

If you see that pop up you enabled icloud. Whether you want or do not want now to use it irrelevant until you actually disable activation lock.
In order to do that you have to change your apple id back to do that just long enough to sign in and back out. System will ask you to verify, don't.
Just sign in on the prompt you getting and then logout. Once done, change apple id to what you have now and verify. Then decide if you want to
use icloud (who does not want to be able to track their phone if lost or stolen).

You can ONLY buy from the itunes store of your country of residence ( proven by the valid billing address on your credit card) and ONLY while inside the borders of that country.
