Should you be in the Canadian App Store? Is that your store? Of not - or of you need to see what store you are in.

Since upgrading to 5.1, my oncreen keyboard does not appear when it needs to
since i have done the upgrade, my on-screen keyboard does not appear when it needs to. I keep having to restart my system to make it happen.... Is there a special way to display the keyboard manually, or should it be automatic?

regarding your issue lets see what we can do to solve this issue.
- have you tried safe boot
safe boot = starting up the mac with the SHIFT- button.
- when entering safe mode you will be able to enter and quick change some settings
now next question do the unwanted aplications still load in safe mode , if so
go to the Apple icon -> System preferences -> user & groups -> login items (top right on the screen from user & groups window) now at login items u can close any unwanted aplications by deleting them or unmarking them
- unwanted aplications will now disapear when starting up your mac os x system
- next issue should be your authentication , this will be a bit more tricky , lets see
same category user & groups and u will see your admin account try seeing if u have enabled the admin account right click on your admin account to see information about it and compare it if your info is correct , next see if you have authorized your admin account to write & read.
if these still don't work , make a test account to see if this problem is user wide or system wide. -
I don't know of there is anyone than can fix this age old Apple problem. Does anyone know how to retrieve apps under an old Apple ID when the email used for that account no longer exists & I can't remember the password? After speaking with Apple Acct. Security, I got the security Q right but my birthday was wrong! They wanted the serial number from my phone that was 3 iPhones ago! Seriously??!!
Any updated way to work around this? No Apple people can correct it.

This sounds like it is about Window positions.
iChat has Default places for Incoming Invites.
Video is always top Center of your Screen
Audio and Text chats are Upper right with the Audio slightly lower than Text Chats.
Secondary invites are sort of Stacked like when you open multiple files from the same App.
Your outgoing Windows are "Remembered" as to where the last one was when you used it.
This can be an issue if you use your Mac with a second display and turn Off Mirroring.
You windows can get "left" on the other screen.
Go to System Preferences > Displays and turn On Mirroring and the windows should come back to one Screen/display.
If this does not help go to your Home Folder/Library/Preferences and delete (Drag to Trash) com.apple.ichat.plist and restart iChat.
Unfortunately you will need to reset any iChat Preferences you have changed from defaults.

What exactly happens when you try to buy something ? If you've already removed the card from your account then iTunes shouldn't be asking for any details about it.
If you log into into your account is the card still shown . On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your phone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

The I cloud on mu IPAd keeps reverting to my old password so that I cannot get mail. Sometimes this happens on my iPhone as well. I type in the correct password in the iCloud account and mail account under settings but it always reverts back and preventsme from getting mail. Can only retrieve mail from i cloud on my competer. I have recently had a problem with one of my hotmail accounts, some sort of virus sending random emails from my address book. Hotmail advised me to delete all contacts and change the password for that account, which I did on my laptop running windows XP. The change was successful and I was able to send and receive emails with no problem. I then had to change the account password on my iPhone 4s, which I did and it too was successful but when I came to change the password on my iMac, running the latest version of Lion it would not recognise the new password. I have tried to remove the account details and re-install but every time I go to add new account my old details are in the box. This is very frustrating as I use my iMac for all my profects and I need to access my email. Please help.

I had already deleted all reference to the hotmail account in question from the keychain access app, I have also tried to delete and re-instal the account details from within mail. The icon in the side bar dissapears but when I go to Add Account, the old account details are in the new account box. I then input my new password but am told that the server does not recognise it. If I access hotmail via google on the iMac I can get into my account with no problems. I am thinking there must be some other form of security system within the mac software that is blocking the new password. This is driving me nuts. I have been trying to resolve this for the last two days. Thank you for your advise anyway. -

I take it that this is on an Ipad. I had just about the same problem, you could reset your password, but then again, you must apply the new password in the ITune's Store. Tap settings, "about" to check your firmware. Also to set the new password for the Store, tap Settings, Store, then tap Apple ID: a small pop up will show, here tap View Apple ID and input your new password.
