I have two iphone users sharing one apple id and itunes account. Can I snc both phones to the itunes account without sharing each others info i.e. photos, music, contacts? I am afradi to sync one and lose the information the other one has.
A solution would be to use Apple's iCloud to sync instead of iTunes. This requires the latest operating system, iOS 5. Now backups will be done to the cloud, and you can choose what gets synced across your devices by turning them off in iCloud settings (i.e. turn off Calendars, Photos, etc.).

Yes, your entire family can use one AppleID just for purchases in the iTunes and App Stores, then each of you can use your own unique AppleIDs for all other services (iCloud accounts, iMessage accounts and so on).
You can have as many AppleIDs as you wish (or have email addresses for), and you can use a different one for each service Apple offers, if you wished to.
By doing what you suggest, you also limit the number of AppleIDs with payment information associated with them, so there is only one single AppleID that can be compromised that way. Keeping one AppleID for purchases and another (with no payment information tied to it) for everything else is not a bad practice for anyone to follow. -

What exactly do you want to accomplish?
You could, of course, have one person use the existing account and have the other two people create new unique accounts. This will allow you to keep everything separate. Those creating the new accounts should delete any apps that were downloaded or purchased with the original account and download or purchased those apps using their own unique Apple ID. -

Is there a way to use my same iTunes account for music downloading on 2 separate computers? I have iTunes downloaded on my home desktop computer but am wanting to use the same account on my computer for school? Is there a way to be able to share the songs on both computers without having to use like an external hard drive or cd or another method to transfer them between the 2. I kept all my iPhones after I upgrading to the latest one each time my 2 year contract was up so I have an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 & iPhone 4S. I actually still use all 3 phones for different purposes. My iphone 3gs is not activated, but I still use it for apps among other things when connected to wifi. My iphone 4 & 4s are both activated with 2 saparete phone numbers, but I have all 3 devices on the same iTunes account. I never noticed this to be a problem until just recently when I was thinking about selling one of my iphones since I'm now due to upgrade again to the iPhone 5. Well my problem is that when the latest iphone software update came available I noticed that all 3 iPhones had a notification letting me know that there was a new update available & I didn't want to update my iphone 4 & 4S until I had a recent back-up on my pc just incase anything went wrong like once before. Referring to the last time I updated my iphone 4s for some reason right in the middle of the update it lost connection. So I had to restore my entire phone from scratch & because I didn't check to make sure that had a recent back up right before I updated I ended up losing a lot of important information. So anyway since my iphone 3GS I knew had a recent back up & plus it doesn't have a lot of important information stored on it I chose to go ahead & update it first. Then later on when I went to update my other two iPhones I noticed the notification that was there before on all my phones to let me know the update was available was now gone & it would not give me the option to update either of my other two phones. I don't know if this is true or not, but I was later told that Apple will only let you download the free update software on only one device on each iTunes account & since I have all 3 devices on one itunes account I could only choose to update one. I didn't know this beforehand so I used the update on my 3GS which I barely use except to play with on wifi & now my other two iPhones which are the main ones I use are both activated now function very slow & constantly crash. Also if I was to choose to sale one of the iPhones without the latest software update on it does that mean that the new owner will not be able to get the latest update meaning the phone would be out of date without having that latest software installed? If anyone knows how to help me fix this or give some advice I would really appreciate!!
That's utter non-sense.
Just connect your 4 & 4S, iTunes running, & hit the "Check for Updates" button, or you can update directly on the phones(if running iOS 5.0 or higher): Settings>General>Software Update.
iOS 6.1.3 is the current iOS version for both phones. -

It is easier for me to clean up my phone on the phone itself and not on the computer.

I have an iphone4 and an ipad2. I used to sync my phone with one computer and the ipad with another. but i used the same apple account.
Now the problem is that i lost the computer to which i was syncing the iphone. Is there a way that i can start to sync the iphone with the computer that i use for my ipad and not loose any data.

No. Syncing with a different computer/library will wipe the content from the device and replace it with content from the new library.
All of the media should be in the iTunes library already, at least what was purchased from iTunes. -

I have an IPhone with music on it and I have an iTunes account on my Mac book pro, its the same itunes account as my phone and it wont let me put music on my phone nor will it allow me to sync the music from my phone to the itunes on my computer. Can you please help me out???? thanks

Each of you should set up your separate iCloud account on your own computer using your Apple ID. This gives you two independent iCloud accounts.
Note that an iPad is not a multi-user device. It can only be synced with one account. -
I have an IPhone4 and is updated with version 6.1.3 and I am not able to connect with face time calls. I have checked the date ant time. I used to be able to use face time with no problem. Since the late os upgrace I have not been able to connect with face time.
