I have an ipod touch 3rd generation 8gig and non of my apps work. I attempt to update them but it says that my device is not compatible. If anyone has an idea how to fix this please help

In the past couple weeks my apps have stopped working and i am unable to use amny of the featurs on my device.  Any help would be nice.

There is no such thing as a 3rd generation 8gig ipod touch.  You have a second gen.
