I have an U.S store account but i recently bought a gift card from switzerland. How do i make the gift card work on the US iTunes store

I currently have a US iTunes Store account. But recently due to some circumstances i have got a Switzerland gift card. So when i type in the code it says "Your iTunes Store (U.S) does not match the gift certificate (Swiss)" how can i resolve this problem?

I travel to the UK a lot and have purchased UK ITunes cards. The only way that you can use a foreign card such as yours is if you have an acct based in Switzerland. Now here's the problem with that, you have to also have a credit card that has a Swiss address that you can log into. Without this they will not let you use the cards.

It could be a problem at the other end, try again tomorrow. Also , try resetting your iPad by holding down the home and sleep/wake button till the Apple logo appears and then let it wake up, maybe that may help.

Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.

You can't. The iTunes Store does not sell CDs. The music it sells comes as downloadable music files.
If that is what you want, just search in the Store for what you want, and then click Buy. Note that the Store will collect sales tax. The amount depends on where you live, but in most places, you cannot buy a $9.99 album for $10 since the sales tax will put you over.

iTunes may still ask you for information from your card on file if that information has lapsed or needs updating. The card information on file has to be correct, no matter what purchasing option you will be exercising for this purchase.

Have you authorized the Computer to your Apple ID?
If not, sign on to iTunes.
Then got to the Store menu option at the top of the screen (CTL+B if it is not showing), and click on it to display the dropdown, and select Authorize this computer.
If that doesn't work, then sign on your Dad's iTunes ID and repeat the Authorization process.

If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

You can change the e-mail address associated with an account.
All purchases will always be tied to the account form which they were purchased.
