I have App Store 1.0. MacUpdate Desktop tells me there is a new version 1.0.1. How do I update App Store. MU only takes me directly to App Store. Not much help there, as I don't find how to update the App Store itself. Please write me at guki@broadpark.no

Actually, I am aware that the upgrade is implemented in 10.6.7. However, up until now I haven't been able to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6.7, as I have software that is not yet compatible. So I wondered how to do it within 10.6.6? May be it is not possible? Anyway, this gave me a push to track the software I use for compatibility, and I found that an update for 10.6.7 now is ready for download, so then I will probably solve two issues at the same time. Takes a little work though. Thank you again for your advice.

On Tuesday 14, I uploaded my ibook for free using itunes Producer and itunes Connect. The ibook was made with ibooks Author, so the format is .ibooks. I'm looking for it in the ibooks Store using the Title or using my name but I cannot find it. ¿How can I know that the book is publicated yet? Where can I find my ibook?
Try waiting a week or so, sometimes Apple does not approve things as quickly as you might like.

Seeing how Creative doesn't want to easily display the capabilities of there cards, I would like someone to let me know what card will allow the fallowing in Windows XP, Vista, and theoretically Windows 7.

The reasons behind me wanting to buy a new card are simply that I would prefer to run it through PCI-Express, and have full compatibility at the release of Windows 7 without any loss of features I need. From what I can tell, if things work in Windows Vista they will work in [email protected]All I can say to you (someone correct me if I'm wrong) is that Xtremegamer's doesn't decode DD/DTS via hardware with official drivers (altough they're capable of - all X-Fi are capable of decoding). How do I download an app I previously had on an older device, not utilizing my cloud or itunes backup. I want to download the app as new as if I had never had it before. When I go to the app store, it only gives me the option of downloading from the cloud with the cloud icon?
When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

Make sure your Mac can run Mavericks > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements
v10.9 Mavericks no longer available from the App Store but may be able to acquire a redemption code from Apple via email.
Open the App Store. Select either Features, Top Charts, or Categories in the menu top of the window.
Then click Support under Quick Links right of the App Store window then click Contact Support.
Once you have the redemption code, click Redeem under Quick Links. -
Hi - I want to establish my Time capsule at the other end of the house, for security reasons. If a fire occurs at my computer, it is not much help if the backup is adjacent. From what I have read, the TC requires an ethernet connection to the outside world (which is where my computer is). I don't understand this; I think my wireless network (airport) should be able to handle backups, since it is capable of broadcasting video, which has a much higher transfer bit-rate. So, why can't I use Airport for my backups to Time Capsule?
- Thanks, GarethYou can absolutely back up to your time capsule via wifi. This is what the majority of people with a time capsule do. It connects to a modem or WAN access point via ethernet though.

According to Roaring Apps, there is a version of Protools compatible with Lion. But you may need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to buy either Lion or ML on MAS. It looks like you need to get up-to-date with your OS and the apps too.

My i Pad 3 shows "cannot Access Find My Friends open the app and review your sign in information to continue sharing your location. And I have two buttons : Later and Open but they don't work. As long as I have this screen situation, I cann't do anything on my I Pad. Please help !!
I have the same problem on my iPhone4. It is obviously a bug in the software. Once it pops out I am locked out of my phone. I can't even begin to describe the frustration this causes. All that stuff about holding down the buttons is useless. the phone won't even shut off. I can take a screen shot like that or go to voice control. Even when I got to a wifi connection, I can't get on. This app blocks everything else. This is a serious bug and can have serious consequences. The only thing my phone would do is go to voice control and let me play iTunes or phone people. Some smart phone hey?

Out of the box, to use the function keys as function keys, hold down the fn key when you press the key. Otherwise, you get the picture function on the key. You can reverse this behavior in the Keyboard system prefs.
