I have attempted to download the free trial of Acrobat XI, the application file appears to be in the download folder however the setup progress bar was hanging so I cancelled. Now I don't know what to do, please advise
Please advise how I install the free trial of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I started the download process and can see the files in the Downloads folder however the setup screen was hanging so I cancelled. Now I don't know what to do. It goes back to the original download screen

I have now brought my daughters laptop into work as she has CS6 so I thought it would be easier to set up her laptop to the work network, set up an email account for her and attempt to email my 270 certificates that way. How wrong was I. First of all Acrobat X Pro would not open so I did a reinstall. Still wouldnt open so I had to find a patch to fix it. I can now open it. When I open Word 2013 and check the options, the PDFMaker is in the active section but when I open word the Adobe toolbar is not appearing. I've opened Acrobat X Pro and have discovered that it's missing a plugin - Convert2AdobePdf (DistillerPI.api) so I'm now in the process to find out how to install this plugin. I have seen through this site that there was a problem with Word 2013 and the Adobe Toolbar which is exactly my new problem. I have to say, after 3 days of trying to perform what you would think is a very simple function, I'm ready to just convert 270 individual pdf's and email them individually, I would have had the job done by now !

I just got a warning that the Itunes that I just downloaded (10.6) could impare or destablize my system- I have had Itunes on my computer before but when I plugged in my Ipod it told me I needed to uninstall Itunes and reinstall itunes all together. On iTunes when i plug my iphone in, the bar at the bottom with contains the information about the capacity of my iphone, it has a bar called 'other' which has 4GB. I don't know what is taking up that space or how to get rid of it. please help
You can reduce the size to normal, which is about 1GB, by restoring the phone.

The size of this part can increase when something goes wrong during a sync, or some files can't be read anymore by iTunes. -

When you saw this dialog box, did you choose "Erase and Sync"?
If you did, your iPhone was erased, then your iTunes Library was transferred to it. If your iTunes Library was empty, your iPhone will be also.
Your previously purchased music, apps, books, and videos are still yours. You just have to download them again.

Please the first thing you should do is to restart your device. Go the sleep wake button and hold down on it for 4-5 seconds waiting for the 'slide to shut off' message to appear. Once the device is turned off go ahead and restart the device. If this does not resolve the issue then go to the area on the front of your device to the app that reads 'settings' from settings>general>reset>reset network settings. Clicking on reset network settings will not erase any data only will reset the network settings apart of your iphone., Once the reset has completed you will then need to go back to settings to wi/fi and plug in the name and password of your wi/fi prior to using it.

Please help me !I believe apple no longer accepts debit cards in some countries. Try a credit card instead. Go to settings/iTunes and App Store tap on the ID then then tap on view apple ID and log in then tap on account info and have a look at the billing options available to you

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -
I cannot download the free trial of Lightroom. In my screen it says that it is downloading but nothing happens. I am trying for more than one hour now.

What? I don't understand if you are asking me a question or telling me what to do. I am using IE9 and when I clicked the "Download now" button, a new tab did not open or anything like that nor did another window open.

I have a lot of files called FILE0001.CHK etc. on my MacBookPro - they cannot be opened and an app search produces no solution. Does anyone know what they are please?

I do not use Windows on my Mac but it is possible I ran ScanDisk on my previous Windows laptop. Perhaps I have inadvertently brought these files to my Mac?? Can I delete the files or will I be losing something I cannot verify? So appreciate your input - thank you.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -
My macbook screen doesn't work so I have connected it to the TV and now nothing works, I can't see the dock or the finder bar, no folders on desktop either. I don't know what to do!
Do you see anything on the TV?
If you just see your desktop, then your MacBook is defaulting to extended display mode. Try pressing the Command + F1 keys to see if you get the menu bar and other icons.

hi, i downloaded call of duty black ops on my iMac, and i had in app purchases, and it asked me if i wanted to restore them, but an error occured and I had to click cancel, now I don't know how to restore the in app purchases, does anyone know?
The developer would know, at least they should help troubleshooting.
