I have been using itunes all day and then it wanted me to install a newer version. When I did it said I can't because it's missing mdsvr80 or something so i downloaded that now it has another error. How do I get itunes back the way it was or to work?

to know your version of OS, click on the apple, then " About This Mac".

Not sure. Did you open an alternate iTunes library? See here for how to navigate to and open an alternate iTunes library file, which hopefully still exists on your PC containing all your library information and such.

The font for Mozilla has changed. How do I get it back to what it was?
Tonight I changed the AOL display page. After that the font had changed to all of Mazilla. I want it back the way it was. This new one is very hard to read. How can I get it changed back?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
If fonts are messed up or look blurry then try to set the gfx.content.azure.enabled pref to false or if this didn't help disable Direct2D by setting the gfx.direct2d.disabled pref to true on the about:config page and leave hardware acceleration otherwise enabled.

If you have changed setting in Firefox Options and you can't remember where then try to rename or delete the prefs.js file and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default values.

Last night Chrome and Google 1+ locked down my pc because I disconnected plus one. I could not even get to Norton. This morning I talked to Norton and they moved my system to FF, I have two accounts Donnie p grant and Donnell Grant. I play Mafia Wars and a browser must be compatible with Client Addon. I am a gamer and had always used FF but was having trouble and switched to Chrome. When Norton moved my files back to FF she downloaded them but I can't get everything back to where it should be and I do not understand so much of it. Please help me set my FF account back up. It's nice that usb tethering has returned, but how do I get iTunes to find wifi devices?
Since the last update this May, my iTunes cannot find wifi devices. USB works but devices no longer show up via wifi.

The url of the website that I'm visiting used to show in the url box when I opened from a shortcut or email. But not it's not there unless I refresh the page. I've looked and haven't found a way to set this so that it works like it used to. I liked being able to click in the address bar and copy the link, or even to look there and see where I am.
I'm unable to check it in safe mode because the only time it happens is when I click a link and have not firefox open. For example if I would click a link in my email right now, it would open in another tab and show the address of the link I clicked. But if I didn't not have this window open and clicked alink, it would open a new window and I wouldn't be able to see the url.

Help!!! I just synced my husbands iphone and it copied all of my data onto his iphone, such as Apps and my Phone numbers. How do I reset it to back where it was before I synced it????

i would like to know how to get into the options for mozilla. i assume this is the default window style for the latest mozilla since i just downloaded it onto this computer.
Did you hide toolbars?
Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
*View > Toolbars (place a tick on toolbars that you want to see)
Also make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle).

My god I've lost all my addons and other important info when I signed on this morning it asked me which which user I wanted to use this was the first time ever asked. I had downloaded 4 security addons and not sure how to get the user sign on back up. this new user setting has no addons and I tried to get to it in safe mode for FF4 but it's still gone. After much gnashing of teeth and exotic curse words to avail I am still stuck with a blank slate FF4 I will never be able to get it back the way it was. Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I have been using Safari for years and have always kept it on "private." Starting two days ago, I suddenly found myself unable to log onto my blog and many other sites that I normally log onto when private is set. This so annoying, I just switched to Firefox. I don't like Firefox nearly as much as I like Safari. What is happening? How do I fix the problem?

Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test. -
My iPod classic shows that memory full in other category however there is nothing on it. I have left it connected all day and over night trying to restore it but the progress bar never goes away. Is it shot or are there other options to restore to factory settings?

I have been using pages for months and now I can not get it to open any templet or previous document to open?
A little more information would be helpful.
What version of Pages are you using? The latest is 4.1 with the update released on July 20. In Snow Leopard 10.6.8 you need at least Pages 4.0.5. If you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. They must be in the iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.
If you are running at least Pages 4.0.5 & haven't made any other changes to your Mac since Pages was last working correctly, the likely culprit is corrupt preferences. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences & delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plst & restart Pages. -

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.
