I have been using Photoshop Elements 11 photo merge function. However, the Photomerge panorama function is no longer accessible - it is visible but greyed out on the "enhance" menu. I have tried to reinstall software, but no change.

Click on Expert and the Enhance>Photomerge>Photomerge Panorama should be available

Quit the editor (Quit PSE on a mac). Then restart it while holding down ctrl+alt+shift (command+option+shift). Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

I have just installed Elements 10 and when trying to use the Photomerge Panorama function the whole programme shuts down. I have tried re-installing the programme and the problem is still there. I have tried using the instructions fron The Dummies handbook but the problem persists.

I have been using my husband's apple id in my old PC. When I purchased a MacBook Pro, I created my own. Because I wanted to have access to my old purchases, I changed my husband's original ID's e-mail address to my e-mail address. Now I can't update s/w.

I have been using my husband's apple id in my old PC (ID A). When I purchased a MacBook Pro, I created my own Apple ID (ID B) and started using my laptop and updating the S/W with this ID.
Because I wanted to have access to my old purchases, I changed my Apple ID's e-mail to another e-mail that my husband uses (ID B->ID C).
Then I changed my husband's original Apple ID's e-mail address to my own e-mail address (ID A->ID B).
Now I can't update any s/w through the Apple Store and I get the message that "Sign in to **********@hotmail.com to update applications for that account.". The e-mail address is ID C. How can I associate my laptop in the AppStore with ID B which is the one that have all my purchased applications and contains my own e-mail address?

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...

I have a itunes 11, iMac, iPad sync issue... all new kit, the itunes library and photos are on a networrk drive but syncing is useless, no music, no photos, no video, sometimes music and videos may be visible but greyed out on the ipad....

This is my first posting so sorry for the messy title... I didn't realise how it all worked here.
I have a shiny new imac, shiny new ipad and have all my media on a network hard drive - itunes works fine on the mac - no problems - photos visible in finder and photoshop - no problems, but when I come to sync the new ipad - several things may happen (I have tried many times now)
1) a long wait - whirly gig round spinner thing - then music visible on the ipad but greyed out and useless
2) no photos at all synced
3) no videos synced
4) info syncs ok
5) apps seem to have synced OK
It is not a data size issue as the same amount of data synced before the new kit from my old windows pc on to an iPod - I daren't try syncing the ipod as I need it for my next business trip.
I tried removing the ipod cache files for the photos - no difference - I tried restoring the ipad - no difference
Have I completely wasted a large amount of money?

ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"

How do i fix this, i have only been using Photoshop elements 11 on my computer, now it's saying ' could not complete your request because file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements' BUT I HAVE ONLY BEEN USING THIS PHOTOSHOP.

Do you get this error when loading or using the organizer or the editor?
What are you trying to do when you get this error?
If you are using raw files, which camera (make and model) do you use to create the raw files?
If you can load the editor, which version of camera raw do you have loaded? - see Help -> about Plug-in -> Camera raw

Every time I click on photoshop edit I get a message that the program has crashed. I' ve been using photoshop elements for two years and nothing on my computer has changed. My software was downloaded and I have no disk.

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Do they launch OK while in Safe Mode?

I am relatively new to lightroom although i have been using photoshop for many years.

after opening, developing and copying a selected image, i make selections in the print section but when i try to print to my 2880, the program indicates in the upper left of the screen that it is in progress, then completed, but then invariably, lightroom quits without printing. If i instead during my developing continue with editing in photoshop and print from there, i have no problem. What am i doing wrong to force lightroom to quit ??     hope for some help,     owlbird

i am editing my own question by adding that in the last 8 hours i find that if i select my image from " collections" rather than from the folders, It works in the print section   ! BUT although i can size it and add my title, whenever i

Hello I have been using Photoshop cs6 for 6 months and now I get "Scratch Disk Full"

I have read all of the threads and done all of the suggestions. Empty Temp Files, Defrag Disk, Checked Root File. I even bought a new HD 1T but still get Scratch Disk. I have 4g Ram and an I5 processor. My HD that I was using has 328g free, So I am at a lose of what to do next. Any help.

Tried to reinstall software, but was wrong software

accidently installed OSX 10.4.7 over os x 10.4.11 anyway to get back what I lost. I have lost my disc for the 10.4.11

If your computer came with 10.4.7 or 10.4.8, then you can simply run Software Update to get to 10.4.11. If your computer came with 10.4.11, then I don't know how you were able to install an earlier version.
