I have changed my Apple ID email but when I need to download apps on iPad or iPod it keeps commish up with my old email address si I cannot download or update apps or iTunes

I have changed my Apple ID to new email and new password. Apple confirmed changes. Now when I need to download apps or iTunes purchases it asks me to verify and put in password for my previous email and password, which it declines the old password as obviously the email is wrong but I do not get option to change email only to rest password. How do I rectify this.

Thank you for the question.  Use these steps to change the Apple ID signed into the iTunes Store:
Sign in with a different Apple ID
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
Tap your Apple ID.
If you see the option to Sign In, you can change your Apple ID now.
Tap Sign Out.
Enter your Apple ID and Password and tap Sign In.
Or if you don't have another Apple ID, tap Create New Apple ID.
