I have created a Apple ID but the e-mail adress is invalid due to a typo. I could purchase apps in the store but now the store is requesting a confirmation (after several month) and I cannot confirm the ID as the e-mail is invalid. What can I do?
I have a IPAD. During the initialisation I had to submit an Apple ID. I have one, but unfortunately I had a typo in the adress. I could purchase apps with the invalid adress but now (after several month) it is asking for verification. This is not possible as the e-mail is invalid

The good news is you should be able to get into your Apple ID by answering security questions instead of email at appleid.apple.com. Click the Manage Your Account and then Forgot Your Password links. If you get in you'll see the place to change your primary email address.
The bad news is there are some issues with Apple ID accounts right now. Some accounts are unable to change their primary email address (Mobile Me accounts in particular), some accounts cannot even log in because Apple has screwed up the security information (for example, I have 2 Apple ID accounts where it tells me my own birthday is invalid).
So give it a shot.

how can I delete my previous iCloud email address. It is no longer in use. I have created new Apple id. And it is verified but I cannot merge it with iCloud Since it is asking me to type password.
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I have created an apple ID whiuch has been verified however when I go to download an app mit reverts to an old apple ID and asks for a different password which I do not have. How can I edit or delete the old (alternate) password and ensure that it only refers to the current Apple ID when requesting confirmation. Note the old Apple iD is a gmail account and I read somewhere that you can not edit or delete gmail or me.com apple IDs? Is this the case?

Ok, first of all don't keep purchasing the application, and if you've purchased it multiple times, contact iTunes billing department immediately. They SHOULD only send one actual confirmation in and the rest of the "pending" charges will drop off (how long that takes is up to your credit card company, not iTunes), but you should be sure.
Second, sometimes when they are uploading a lot of new stuff at certain times it can cause the store to screw up, or any number of other reasons could be a factor why you can't connect to the iTunes store, be it on their end or on your end even. Wait a little bit and try again via "Check for available downloads" or via your "Purchased" option on the iTunes store main page.
IF the app you purchased isn't there and you are sure your credit card was charged, then you will need to contact iTunes to find out why you can't download the app. -

No. iPads that have any type of denting or physical damage (old or new) are not covered under the warranty. Apple would have no way of determining when the damage was done or if that damage caused your present issue.
I believe that once they see physical damage, their reasoning for voiding the warranty would be that visible, physical damage, irregardless of when it ocurred. -
I have a new ipod nano but at the moment I am unable to download music through itunes. I'm so disappointed. I have created an Apple ID, reviewed and inputted all of my data for my account and still get told to 'review account' because my ID has not 'been used with Itunes before. Why is this happening and why don't apple have a more intuative way of dealing with this.

I have no other email address and do not want to create one simply for an icloud ID. What do I need to do to be able to sign into icloud?
You may not create a new iCloud account using a PC, you must use a Mac (OSX 10.7 or later) or an IOS device (IOS 5 or later). Once that is done you may sign into the account from your PC.

There are a number of Apple services: iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game center, Find My iPad, etc.
Now, to share apps, music and books you need to have the same Apple ID:
iPad's Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > Your purchasing Apple ID.
For the other service, your wife should have her own Apple ID.
All she needs is a valid e-mail address, apply Apple ID below:

I have 3 mail accounts in apple mail. One of them has had the spinning ball going for several days and I cannot receive mail in this account or delete messages etc. For some reason, I CAN send mail on Apple mail using this account, although it takes several minutes. I can receive mail in this account on my iPad and by signing into aol on safari and internet explorer on my office PC. It's obviously a glitch in Apple's Mail. I've deleted this account and reopened it in Mail on my Mac Pro with no difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, this E amil account is major to my business.
