I have different music on my IPod, Macbook Pro, IPad, and IPhone, how can I get all the music from all my devices onto all of my devices?
Iam new to Apple apart from my IPod. All of my devices have different music on them and I want all of my music on all of the devices, how do I go about this. Some has been purchased from ITunes so that has been fine, but other stuff purchased from other online stores and my old CD's I put onto my IPad via an old PC I have no idea how to get onto everything.

You'll need to get it all onto one iTunes collection on your Mac Pro, then sync the devices to that. iTunes only lets you transfer purchases from a device, otherwise you have to use third party software.
I guess you could also look into getting iTunes Match.

You must configure to sync only the specific items you want on your iPod by enabling the necessary settings from under the iPod's Summary and Music tabs. Perhaps this article can provide more information and assistance.

What can I do to get "maps" to work on my Macbook Pro, iPad and iPhone when connected to wifi at home. iPhone "maps" work fine when connected to cellular service. Maps on wifi shows me about 55 minutes away from my current location. Very frustrating. I called Time Warne,r my service provider, but they had no answers since they were not knowledgeable of this situation. Anyone else having problem? I just updated all devices to newest update. Is that the problem.
Did you bring your wireless router with you? If so, it's possible the iPad is getting its location through the router and the router still "thinks" it's where you used to live.
Try taking your iPad to another location where there is wifi (such as a coffee shop). Then, try an app that uses location services. If it's accurate at another location, then the source of your problem is your router.

I have the latest Macbook Pro retina and I have looked on line for ways to hook it up to Apple TV, but all ways have failed to do so. However, I can easily access Apple TV through my Iphone 4s.
~ When I turn on Apple TV and Airplay and connect only the Macbook Screen goes into the mirror tv format. Nothing shows up at all on the TV.Awesome, thanks everyone for your brilliant ideas in regards to trouble shooting this issue.

I have a MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite, version 10.10.2.
I have an iPad 2 running 8.1.3
I have an iPhone 6 Plus running 8.1.1
I have my Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes set up to sync over iCloud among the three devices.
I haven't had a problem with the Mail or Contacts syncing (at least not as far as I know), but the Notes and the Calendars don't seem to stay sync'd up. I will notice that they aren't sync'ing, will delete and re-sync and they are fine for a while, but inevitably they stop sync'ing at some point. This has been true through earlier incarnations of operating systems, so not something new.

This was removed in 10.9. You may have better luck getting assistance in the relevant Mac forum. -
I have just had an iPod mini but my messages are coming through on my iPad and my iPhone how can I stop this happening ? Do I need to reset my iPad ?
To prevent messages from reaching both devices you can turn off Messages on the device you do not want to receive messages but keep Messages on on the device you do want to receive Messages.
You might also look at this option for both devices.
Settings > Messages > Send and Receive > review the a riotous choices for how you can e reached and select the ones that are most appropriate for you and the device you are setting. -

Your apps should be on your computer in itunes. Just sync them to the iphone.

Like I said, my back up broke and I can't get all of my music back by transfering purchases because I burned a lot of CD's I had collected from the past. I don't have any of those CD's anymore, so how can I get all of my music onto my new iTunes? Or am I just S.O.L.?

My hard drived crashed in my HP Pavilion desktop and I have installed a new one. I have Windows 2007. My Itunes library is gone. How can I get all the music that I loaded onto my iPod from my own CD's back into an Itunes library?
The loading of audio files to iPod is designed to go one way only: computer to iPod. There are some third-party applications available which will rescue an audio library and write the files back to a PC HDD. The playlists might not copy, nor the album art work, nor videos but you might be able to recover all audio files. Some apps are open source and available for free download, for example: Senuti, Onyx. There are others which are Windows-based; do a Google search to find out.

I have our music collection on iTunes Match for my PC, ipad and iphone.
Can I share that music collection with my wife so she can play that with her iphone? Even though she has a different Apple ID from me?Her iPhone will need to be set up to iTunes Match using your Apple ID to be able to share music via iTunes Match. Otherwise you'll have to download the music to your computer and then copy those tracks into her iTunes library, assuming hers is separate.

If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply.

If your iPod is set to update automatically take care when connecting to a different computer if your current one is out of commission. You will get a message that your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it.

Library not seeing songs I know are there
I had to wipe out external HD (i.e. reformat as Mac only) and then I put the iTunes Music folder back on it, but that I don't believe that should make a difference.... All the music is there, and the Preferences>Advanced shows that as the location fo
