At this time, I guess that it may be a better idea to download the free 30 days trial iWork
Install it
run Software Update to apply the required updates (updater 9.0.5 required)
You will be able to use it during 30 days and with a bit of luck, the long awaited new version will be available.

You can select the calendar to sync in the Info Tab in the iTunes window on the right, when your iPad is connected to the Mac , while iTunes is running and after you select the iPad on the left side under the devices heading.

And, your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

Are you using the same Apple ID you originally purchased the app with?
Try this:
- go to the App Store
- select Updates
- select Purchased
Here it will show a list of the Apps you have purchased both paid and free. Locate the app and press the download button to the right of it (cloud with arrow pointing down).

You will have to purchase them for the Mac - the two operating systems are totally different and what works on an iDevice will not work on a Mac.

I go ahead and authorize by going into iTunes/store/authorize computer, I verify the information that is given. I go back and try to redownload the apps and I get the same exact message, this computer is not authorized for this device. What am I doing wrong?

I have been trying to work through this problem by myself and have so far downloaded the most current version of iTunes. Frome there when it tells me I have to authorize this computer, I had to not put in the iPad information, I had to authorize with my current iTunes information, and any iPad or iPod, iPhone information. I have several people in the family that have different accounts, so I had to authorize each and every individual account because I didnt know which apps or music was purchased under which user. When you transfer app purchases from in my case an iPad to iTunes does it include data from the apps?

For example the app Ladida that records your voice and makes it into a song. I have lots of songs saved in the app from some of my baby cousins, does that get transfered with the app to iTunes so that if I ever need to sync it back to my iPad the songs will all be there??

No. App data gets stored on the device and is backed up when you backup the device. If the app doesn't provide a way to save the data via say the File Sharing system, or email, then you need to keep the app on the device. If you remove the app any data associated with it will be deleted from the device, and at the next backup it will also be removed from the backup set.

My iTunes ID is not recognized by the App Store after downloading Yosemite

My iTunes ID is not a mac.com id but a hotmail.com id. That is how I have been buying music. Now I need to download updates for the new Yosemite software and the App store is not recognizing my hotmail.com id. How do I clear this up?

I have the same problem on my iMac. I was able to download and install OS X 10.10 Yosemite on my macbook pro retina. i went to my iMac and when I enter my Apple ID and Password (which is correct), it says "Your device or computer could not be verified. Contact support for assistance". It won't let me download Yosemite. FWIW, I can start up iTunes and log in with my Apple ID and Password without any problem.

If you have not already reverted the look and feel to be like iTunes 10 then
View > Show Sidebar
View > Show Statusbar
click on the black arrow in the search box and untick Search Entire Library
Now you should be able to drag and drop onto your phone or use the sync pages

It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

Pages Document created on Macbook Air cannot be opened on Ipad Mini. I get a message that reads, "only documents saved in pages '09 may be opened." These devices are one week old and I just downloaded Pages for each.

I created a document in pages on the MBair and tried to save it to the iPad Mini so I could work on it while commuting and the file does not show up on the mini. You are aware that Pages for Mac and Pages for iPad /iPhone/iPod are 2 different program?
Looks like you have Pages for Apple mobile devices but not for your Mac.
