I have emails coming from one person where the date (month) is one month in advance. I check it in outlook and it is OK. Any ideas?

An email that came in yesterday is dated 08/31/2014 instead of 07/31/2014. The reason I noticed is it was always staying at the top of my inbox even after newer ones arrived........ I log on to Outlook and it shows the date as 07/31/2014.........

Have the sender to check the time and date on his/her computer.
