I have just bought my first Mac a MacBook Air 11 ". Thwe external output doesn't work . Do I have to make a choice between internal and external speakers? If so, How?

Ziatron is correct that Flash does not work on an iPad, but it does work on a Mac. See Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.160.

Click off the flags of the countries you want--like if you need a British keyboard that has a British pound symbol, pick that one.
When you're done picking, them leave preferences. Now, in the upper right-hand corner of your computer, next to the date, you'll see a little flag. Click on that. You'll see all the flags you picked. Choose the one you want. Your keyboard will now give you the symbols, letters, etc. that you would get if you'd bought the computer in that country.

In your PC, you accessed to your Google Mail account using your browser. In Mac, the process is the same, but as your Mac is new, first you have to log in Google with your Google account.
If you want, instead of having to open Safari every time you want to check mail, you can use the Mail application included in OS X. Open System Preferences > Mail, Contacts and Calendars, and add all your mail accounts. They will be automatically set up to be used in Mail, so just open the app.
Then, after opening Mail, the process of deleting more than one mail is as simple as choosing the ones you want to delete pressing the Command key, and then, press the trash button in the toolbar

A 2003 MS office sounds like a Windows version. A 2004 MS Office that was Mac compatible can not be run natively on a new MBA since the Lions do not run PPC applications. You will have to get a newer edition of MS Office that is compatible with your new MBA.

Reminders is automatically installed with 10.8 or above. A new Mac should have 10.9; it's possible that, with a third-party vendor, you have an earlier OS. Check under the Apple menu in the top left and click About This Mac. That will tell you what version of OS X you have.

If so, on your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Select: Contacts
Give iCloud a few minutes to sync the data.
For the iPad, make sure Contacts is switched on. Tap Settings > iCloud

The old Macbook Pro I was using used Snow Leopard. Now with the new it is a Lion. Toruble now when I click onto new message window I have the spinning icon which show it is trying to load. If you are trying to sync via iCloud, make sure your MacBook is running OSX Lion 10.7.7, and that you have set up your iPhone as described here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ and you MacBook as described here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.htm (including turning On Contacts and Calendars as shown in step 3). If you're syncing via iCloud don't check to sync in iTunes too (on the Info tab in iTunes) or you may end up with duplicate data.
