I just checked your account, and see that it's active. Are you trying to sign in via Adobe Reader? If so, please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader and make sure that it-s up-to-date. The most current version, 11.0.07, should alleviate that sign-in error.

Did a clean install 10.9.4. on a Apple Stock 1TB Fusion Hard Drive. When I run "diskutil list" via Terminal, everything is wrong. I have "EFI" and "apple Boot Boot OSX" in every dev/disk** Everything is out of place, How can I repair? Im willing too reformat if need be, however thats what I did in the first place. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

At least its now reversed as to what it used to be originally before. the 128gb ssd used to be on top. Is my mac booting fusion correctly? Thank you for responding as I was about to reformat.

I can't see any videos in sites like Youtube. I have Quicktime Mac versions 10 in the application folder and Mac version 7.6 in the utilities folder. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks.
*** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. Why does it say "The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel." when trying to install itunes64installer on my b4 bit windows 7 acer pc? Any help would be much appreciated...
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

Photo stream pictures can be viewed only on the devices they were sent to. You can't transfer them back to your phone (or anywhere else). If you didn't back up or import the photos to a computer, and they are no longer on your phone, they're gone. -
I used to be able to download files from the Harddrive of my Sony Handycam, but now it won't let me import them while going through "log and transfer." I have tried to update my settings, but this doesn't seem to work. Any help would be much appreciated
Hard Drive: The Hard Drive is on my camera (Sony Handycam)
Just needed some info on what is going on with your particular system.
Knowing the exact camera model will also assist us.
If this camera is standard AVCHD you should be able to connect with USB to Mac with FCE open and use Log and Transfer without all the fiddling around converting etc.
What FCE does during ingest is convert files to AIC. (Apple Intermediate Codec)
FCE cannot read the individual files in the BDMV folder, that's why all the converting is required when you use that method.
BTW: regards formatting drives/cards/memory on cameras; it is wise to use the actual device to format rather than a computer. This is a prime cause of read/write goof ups with solid state media. This applies to still or video cameras.
Keeping the COMPLETE card/memory structure in tact is vital for successful transfers.

I have deleted photos from iPhoto trash but apparently still have 82GB of photos which I cannot see or delete - any help would be much appreciated
check the overall trash on the 'dock'.when files are deleted from programmes, they always go to the general 'Trash' as general files and you will need to delete form there as well. if there is still a lot of missing files taking up space try reloading or deleting 'Iphoto' and uploading again.

Forgot, it's an ipad 3rd gen wifi.
Ok guys, made an appointment at the Apple store to go in and see what's up but I never made. My daughter asked if I did a hard reset and I wasn't sure what that was. So she held down the power button and home screen button at the same time until it rebooted. Problem solved! Now videos play on the video tube app and on youtube.com. Wow easy fix and Im happy.

Can anyone explain what I need to do. I am buying a new computer, need to de-authorise my old computer and then put the library on a new windows computer. I have my library backed up to the cloud for which I pay extra. I am not at all technical so if anyone could give me idiot instructions I would much appreciate it. Finding the instructions from apple assume I know basic,s and that confuses me!

First I'd look in Finder on the "Go" menu up top as "Connect to Server" and see if Rick-Pc was listed in there and remove it from the list. -
If I try to play a certain person's vevo videos for example they won't play. Other videos posted by people will play, but it seems like if it is an official page by whoever (Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, etc) they won't play and I have no idea why.
It seems to be any videos that have an ad that play before them won't start. I'm thinking it may be an issue related to Flash.

Any time Final Cut Express must perform more calculations than your computer can handle in real time, you need to render. Rendering is the process of creating temporary video and audio render files for segments of your sequence that Final Cut Express cannot play in real time. When you render a segment of your sequence, Final Cut Express substitutes a render file for the segment during playback. Render status bars above the ruler in the Timeline indicate which sections can play back in real time and which segments require rendering. To render just click on the sequence menu and select render selection then click both.

My iMac says my iCloud mail account is off line and is refusing to go online - Ok I rarely use iCloud mail but now the problem has spread to my calendar, which has frozen stating it is connecting to the iCloud server (for the past 8 hours).

PiCked up a virus/malware please help me get rid of it. While browsing with Safari got pop up saying I won a prize. Click OK to find out what I won. Did not click Ok, but cannot close Safari without using forced shutdown. Powering down computer and restarting then selecting Safari brings up same prize window. Just installed Trend Microsoftware for Mac. It's scanning now. Don't think it will work.
If I open another on same iMac everything seems ok.

ThanksI am also running Lion and had the same problem: a persistent popup on top of a half-opened Safari window saying that I had won a prize and should click OK to claim it. If I forced Safari to quit, the same pages and popup menu would appear when I then reopened Safari. From what I can tell, the problem results simply from the fact that Safari in Lion defaults to auto-reopening web pages that were open when Safari last quit, including those suspicious pages that may have prompted the user to force-quit Safari in the first place. I solved the problem this way:
(1) After force-quitting Safari, I went to my user Library folder and found the Saved Application State folder within. I then found the folder for Safari (com.apple.Safari.savedState), opened it and deleted its contents. Now the next time I open Safari, there will be no pages to auto-reopen.
(2) Since this problem could happen again, I decided to disable the auto-reopen feature in Safari. I did this by highlighting the "com.apple.Safari.savedState" file and choosing the File-->Get Info command, and then in the Get Info box, I turned on the Locked checkbox. This prevents Safari from adding any files to this folder.
This solution has worked well for me, and it has the advantage of not requiring the user to reset Safari. It also preserves Lion's auto-reopen feature for all other applications.
I need to give credit to David Pogue for the information I used to solve this problem. He describes this procedure on page 169 of his book, Mac OSX Lion, the missing manual.
