I have just pre ordered the new iphone 5 it didn't give me an option to tell them what carrier im with? will it come with a nano sim?

I pre ordered an iphone 5 this morning, (first time i have ordered from apple) it didn't give me an option to select a carrier? is this normal? will it come with a nano sim if it didn't let me tell them what carrier im with? i dont want to get my new phone and not be able to use it

if you don't have time to stand in line or don't want to risk getting there too late and leaving empty handed from the apple store preordering will guarantee you one but possibly in a slightly longer timeframe

The nano SIM should come with the phone if you set it up with a carrier.
If you purchased an unlocked phone, you'll have to contact your carrier to get a nano sim card.

i pre-ordered the new ipod touch last month on the 18th, and i've been hearing peoples statuses have change to ready for shipment i believe? i checked my status and its still saying its processing my item, when can i expect to receive it? i also seen it said it will be shipped from oct 24-26th. does it take longer for it to ship if you have it engraved? and also if and when it is delivered to my house and nobody is home to sign for it what would i have to do? (would i have to go to pick it up if i miss the delivery?)

I did call the verizon store today and the woman told me it should be no problem, but I keep hearing horror stories about this trade in program and I need to be sure.

I have iCloud Drive set on the Finder sidebar and use that to open the Numbers Spreadsheet on iCloud.

Contact your local Apple store to inquire if they offer a trade-in program. Keep in mind you will get significantly more by selling the device yourself.

I have just upgraded to the new version of itunes on windows7 and now albums added post udgrade wont play when added to ipod.

I have just upgraded to the new version of itunes on windows 7. I have just added 8 albums (Mp3 format) to my itunes library, synced with my Ipod classic and my wifes ipod nano, the albums have transferred to the devices but wont play when selected. Yet they will play in itunes.
When I select the album on the ipod, it opens up as normal but when you press play nothing happens other than a wining sound from the hard drive of the ipod.
My itunes library is a mix of itune purchases and mp3 purchases and this is the first time I have experienced this issue

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

*Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
*Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.

Is there anyway that I could get my videos to appear in my playlist? They are still in my ipod in the video section, but just won't appear in my playlist.

iOS6 problems aplenty ....not sure if the link I inserted is working or not, but the issue is a lot more prevalent - the issue being that what shows up & plays in iTunes after the iOS6 update is not what shows up (& plays) on the device itself. This may go beyond just the iPod Touch as well.
In my case I can see & play both audio & video files in my Playlist through iTunes, but can only see the Playlists on the iPod Touch with ALL of them being empty. Syncing numerous times no help. Contacting Apple Tech. Support no help - they suggested downloading my Purchases from the iTunes Store - waste of time, did not make a difference. It is clear Apple needs to release a fix to OS6.
Another problem I noticed on the device is that the Shuffle option is hidden on the built-in Songs Playlist, having to swipe the screen down to see it - dumb dumb dumb.

Five tracks are already available, and the Store will immediately charge you $1.29 for each, coming to $6.45.
When the others come available, which will be July 15, you will be charged the remainder. That will be the pre-order album price of $10.99 minus the $6.45 you're paying now, which comes to $4.54.
So the price is $10.99 for the full 14-track album.
(If you live in a place that charges sales tax on online purchases, add it to each number above to get the total.)

You can not "tweak it" at all beyond the built in settings and apps that can be downloaded from the app store.

The shipping date can't always be precisely determined due to potential complications. I believe Apple is in the middle of some kind of production and/or legal processes so they don't know precisely when they'll be able to ship. Don't worry.
