I have just upgraded from Elements 11 to 12 but have bought the Windows version

I am a Mac user.  I cannnot seem to email Support.  I know how software companies make it impossible to make direct contact.  Can anyone help?

    Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    The 'Backup/sync to Photoshop.com' functionality is no longer supported in PSE11. Instead of Photoshop.com we have added support for Import/Export to Adobe Revel. Try this out and let us know your feedback.     Are the photos that you are referring to part of a camera roll, photo stream or are they simply photos that you have synced from your computer via iTunes.

    After much back and forth drama, and the assistance of one awesome person at Apple, and also a great iTunes representitive, they have agreed to refund me.
    I have not yet recieved the refund but will post here when I do.
    This has been a long and drawn out headache, but I am glad that finally things seem to be set straight.

    Since it was impossible to install it , I discovered my mistake.
    Academic download assured me that "adobe" is able to convert the code to windows.

    I like to know if somebody has a laptop with windows 8.1 installed and has a recovery  partition in the case of reinstalling windows 8.1.   somebody has erased all harddisk  with low level format for some reason.
    now this man has no more 8.1 to reinstall it.  I have my self the dvd of this version of windows 8.1 or suppose the trial version ,
    if I install the windows from my dvd (or the trial version )and activate it with his product key which is on his laptop voor his 8.1 version.
    is this action illegal or not ? if this action is illegal i like to know why?

    If a proper license is held for the product, MS do say that you can use any legitimately-acquired media to re-install.
    If the computer originally shipped with a manufacturer-supplied copy of Windows (OEM), then only the media from the OEM should be used. This might require him to purchase a set of recovery discs or USB from the OEM.
    It may be possible to retrieve/download a copy of Windows 8.0 or 8.1 from the MS website, with only a product key, but, it is common for modern computers sold now, that there is no visible product key (instead, the key is stored in firmware)

  • I just upgraded from Elements 11 to elements 13 but I dont have access to the NIK Collection add-ons I had available on PE 11. How do I get the add on software to Elements 13?

    Adobe was NO help at all but I found my own answer on the Google NIK site which is VERY helpful and I just had to reload the NIK program from my downloads and it automatically went into both Elements 13 and my newer Lightroom. Google help supports its customers with help and answers and video helps too. Adobe is pretty unfriendly as it just pushes everyone to a Blog forum.

    Thanks so much - Iphoto has been driving me nuts for a while now. Permanent spinning wheel in Places and requiring force quit almost everytime. Following the advice to repair Iphoto permissions removed the spinning wheel from Places and Iphoto is completely back to normal

  • Firefox 10.0.1 will not open; I just upgraded from Firefox 9.0 to 10.0.1, the download completed, I clicked the Restart button; but absolutely nothing happens, no error message, nothing; I cannot start Firefox at all.

    I have Windows XP SP3. Internet Explorer does work, which is how I'm able to tell you this. I have few plugins, and nothing unusual; in fact, before the popup window invited me to upgrade to Firefox 10.0.1, it first did a check for incompatible plugins and apparently found none.
    Maybe I should do a System Restore and not try Firefox 10 again until the bugs are fixed.

    You may need to delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing the latest Firefox.<br />
    In case you still have problems after installing then check your security software.
    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
