I have lots of duplicate songs in ITunes. How can I tell which ones were purchased vs ripped?

I am trying to delete duplicate songs in iTunes library. How can I tell which ones were iTunes purchases and which ones I ripped from CD's.

If you turn on the Kind column your purchases will read Purchased AAC audio file or Protected AAC audio file.
BTW I've written a script called DeDuper which can help remove unwanted duplicates. See this thread for background.

Don't get scared. Cookies are the small file which stores your settings for a website, such as location details, login details, language details and so..
Some sites don't care about your cookies settings but some other sites instructs you to enable cookies in your browser. Enabling cookies is too easy.

How can you tell which songs are downloaded on the iPad from the cloud?

I know ipad albums are more like tagging photos rather than putting them in folders. I just have a nagging feeling I missed some pics and I have too many to try to go figure out one by one. I don't look at my photos from the camera roll, only from albums I tagged just because I imported photos from different sources and the dates and order is really messed up. I just want to know that I am viewing all the photos from like this vacation or that event and there's none I missed that are only in the camera roll.

To ways, one create a filter with file type set to RAW+JPEG, two look at the badges on an image, a badge with an 'R' in it indicates the image is part of a RAW+JPEG pair and the RAW image is the master, if its a 'J' the JPEG is the master.

And it would be in your email's Sent folder (not Adobe Send's). If you look at https://cloud.acrobat.com/sentfiles, does it show that the file has been Viewed? If the Views column shows a 0, then nobody has yet viewed it. If you're concerned, you can select the file by clicking the check box, then select Unshare. You missed all the long posts here where iPad 3 users were upset about the 4th Generation Retina iPad being released so soon and replacing the 3rd Generation. Many said their iPads were obsolete and couldn't understand why the 2 was still being sold and the "3" (even though it wasn't called that) was discontinued.
You can still find some new units at some resellers. You can find refurbished units in the Apple Store. None of them have a Lightning connector and they never will.

Why do I have so many duplicate songs in iTunes

Does anyone know what would cause me to have a large number of duplicate tracks in Itunes. At first I thought it's possible I have more than one copy of a particular song on my computer or definitely on the several drives I have attached. However, I've noticed that even with a brand new CD that I import into iTunes sometimes all or some of the tracks get imported twice.

If you have duplicates of your purchases displayed with a cloud symbol alongside your downloaded tracks then sign out of the store, then sign back in again.
Otherwise there is probably something wrong with your workflow when you add content to the library. Repeatedly importing the same set of folders that are outside the iTunes Media folder with the option to Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library enabled is one common way of creating duplicates.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See thisthread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

When I download a song on a place other than iTunes, the album art doesn't show. How can I get it to?

If you don't buy your music from itunes you can go to amazon.com and simply copy the artwork from their and paste it into itunes. Select the appropriate album or track within your itunes, right click and then select 'get info'then paste it into the artwork box on the right hand side!
