I have my favorite song saved with the ipod App on my phone and cant move it to my ring tone. am I trying to do something that is not possible?
I have my favorite tune saved within the ipod App of my iphone 4 and cannot move it to my ring tone.
Am i doing something wrong?

Hi, the last install dvd that came out for mac's was Snow Leopard,10.6.3. Lion is a download from apple. You cannot just install it over Yosemite. You would have to backup your drive to save files you want and do a clean install. You might want to look into getting more memory. About two years ago I bought an Ipod (4), recently I bought an Iphone 4S. I just want to transfer some songs from my old ipod to my new phone and I am not being capable to find a way in Itunes!! Any help???
Just transfer them from iTunes.
If they are not in iTunes. connect the iPod, then File > Devices > Transfer purchases.
Then connect the iPhone and sync these songs. -
Hi everyone! WE just got an ipod touch 8G. We do have wireless internet, but can't join the network with the ipod touch. Message comes up.."unable to join the network".....very frustrating! We have tried all trouble-shooting suggestions on the site, but nothing is working. Anyone out there got any ideas for us?? The router is a Linksys WRT120N.

I have just opened a new account with my new I pod Nano. I have registered,my husband and daughter have an Itunes account on the same computer. I have bought one song but the Ipod has synvhronised also downloading my daughters tunes from her Ipod.
How do I delete all these songs and prevent this from happening again.?Installing iTunes does not cause content to magically appear on the computer.
Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer. -
Have lyrics been made unavailable with the Music app?
I am unsure of when the change took place, but until recently, lyrics in iTunes (Macintosh) could be seen using an iOS device. But now the lyrics cannot be displayed, at least as far as I can see. It would be great if the lyrics could be displayed again.

HOW DO I GET IT NOT TO?As Dah•veed said, you can delete an app on one divice, and still have it stay on another. The syncing only applies for downloaing apps when you have "Sync Purchases" enabled for the App Store. This goes for the iTunes, iBooks, and Podcasts apps as well.

I have a 2nd generation Ipod.
I have it connected to my computer and see (my name) ipod on my screen.
Everytime I try to add a new song to the Ipod, this message comes up and I am not sure what to do:
The Ipod, (my name) is synced with another ITunes library on A74F65. Do you want to erase this Ipod and sync with this ITunes Library?
An Ipod can be synced with only one ITunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this IPod with the contents of this ITunes library.
Then it asks me if I want to delete and sync.
I am not sure what to do for fear of erasing everything I have put on my Ipod.
I would appreciate if someone could help me out.If I understand you correctly, you are trying to use iTunes to play the Music in your iPod but which is not in your itunes library. I don't think Apple design iTunes for use in your way. As to put and play music in iPod, the music has to be in iTunes first, so you play music in the iTunes music Library. the window with Ipod music is just to show you which music are already in the Ipod, in case you want to Manually Manage your huge music library.

I take it you haven't unticked any of the songs listed on your iTunes Library? Also have you tried selecting all your songs which you wish to add to your iPod, and dragging them over your Devices "iPod Nano"; and seeing if that copies all songs on to your iPod?
Another idea is just check that your iPod has enough space for the rest of your songs to be added to your device.

I have a library of around 1000 songs on my iTunes, I recently synced my phone and all was lost, my partner has the same songs on hers with a different sign in, but not backed up anywhere, any suggestion on how I can store her tunes in my account ??? Then sync them to mine? When I sign her phone into her account I get a message warning that if I sync the dogs on her phone will be replaced by the ones in the library! But as there are no songs there I'm reluctant to continue!!! Please help this non techi guy.!!!!!

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

im having trouble with syncing my ipod touch with my itunes library that i keep on a external hardrive. when i plug up my external hardrive that has all my songs on it, it doesn't sync to my ipod correctly. i have to copy and paste the songs to my ipod device when its connected. i dont want all the songs on there and i want to be able to manually control whats on my ipod. and id like to take some songs off of the ipod also but i want them still in my itunes library though. i usually check the songs i want on the ipod but it isnt working that way maybe because its a external hardrive?? i never had a problem with past ipods with my library on itunes but i ran out of space on my computer and had to transfer all of the songs to my external hardrive. please someone help me!! i thought it would be simple! but it isnt the case! i plug up my hardrive then my ipod, i press sync and nothing gets transfered unless i copy and paste them to the ipod. even though it says ipod syncing in progress! this is really confusing! please help me!! sorry if this is jumbled up and confusing..
Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

I am having problems saving documents back to SharePoint when any of the document properties (metadata columns) are set to be "managed metadata". The check-in/save fails with error:

1. Which Adobe product are you using Acrobat or Adobe reader- what is the complete version?
2. How are you opening and saving the PDF, the exact workflow?
Are you doing it from within Adobe Reader/Acrobat application or opening it from browser, doing changes and saving it using browser itself.
3. Can you try to save a PDF to library with Custom template and managed metadata columns using browser directly.
4. Please verify that columns name do not contain spaces or some other special characters.
