I have restored my i pad 2 and am now unable to access internet banking. the message tells me my browser is not supported. how do I correct this please?
I had to restore my i pad to delete restrictions on facetime. I am now unable to access internet banking with Natwest due to my browser not being supported? How do I correct this? It was working ok before i did the restore. Thankyou.

I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.

This is not my problem. However, I think it may be related to an old speaker. I was using the 30 pin adapter for about a week after the upgrade to 7.1.2. But I think with the update the speaker won't work anymore. I will try with a new speaker system. Thank you for trying to assist.

I have just won an iphone 3gs in a raffle but when i put in my sim it tells me that it is not supported how can i get the iphone to work?
In that case the procedure assuming it is a PAYG phone is to get an o2 PAYG sim, put £20 on it and then make a few calls making sure you leave £15 on the sim to pay for the unlock. Then there is an online unlock request form on the o2 site just fill this in. It takes between 1-14 days and you get a message from o2 telling you how to complete the official unlock through iTunes.
I got my o2 unlock in nov 09 so this is not just opinion. -
I have been using Firefox for a long time as my browser and typically play Pandora while at my office most days. For the first time today I received a pop up message "Pandora believes your browser does not support modern SSL/TLS. Consider upgrading your browswer" when I logged on to Pandora. I checked and I am on the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. I am unable to control volume or log out of Pandora now. I did some google searches and found Mozilla disabled ssl3.0 due to a "Poodle" attack. Does that mean that I can no longer use Firefox as my browser when I want to listen to music on Pandora or is there "a fix"? Thanks!
Mozilla Firefox as of Firefox 34 has the vulnerable SSL 3.0 disabled and only allows for TLS 1.0 at minimum to 1.2 now.

My husband and I both have an i phone. When I send him a message it also sends it back to my phone. The same happens when he messages me. His messages are also picked up on my i pad.How can we correct this?
Are you both using the same Apple ID?
Also check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > make sure it only contains your unique phone number and e-mail address de-select those entries belonging to your husband.

I have a Apple Mac desktop and recently can no longer access Youtube, videos, movies, etc because I get a message reading "Blocked Plug-in". There's no error message but it does say to upload Abode Flash Player and the problem will be solved. I do this but it doesn't fix the problem. What am I doing wrong?
if you already downloaded the adobe flash player onto your mac and still getting that message that means you need to finish the installation of the flash player
you do this by opening a finder window and going to your downloads, find the flash player in here and then double click on it and follow the prompts to complete the installation.
after this is completed you will need to completely quit out of the web browser you're using then reopen it for the change to take affect and your issue should be resolved. if it's not you need to contact adobe their number is 800 642-3623. -
I am having problems viewing my iPhoto from the dock and have to go through my applications to view. What do I have to do to correct this please? Also does the Mac have a defrag function? I have also been advised by the sales person that the Mac does not need an antivirus programme, is this true?

Second you do not have "an iPhoto" - iPhoto is an application that manages photos - the photos are stored (by default) in the iPhoto library in a SQL lite database and you use the iPhoto program to manage them

As to your other OS questions this is certainly not hte best place to address them - we are iPhoto users just like yourself here --- basically as I understand it (and I have had had Macs for 30+ years) there is no "defrag and you do not need one - and antivirus is your choice - most people feel it is a waste of money on a Mac but some like to have it

I have just been trying to import photos from mine and my husbands cameras but nothing seems to be happening. I get the message to wait while they are being imported but after 10-15 minutes, nothing has been uploaded. If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

My husband and I share the itunes account. I just got an iMac. Everytime I send a message from my iMac, it appears to come from my husband's account phone number. Is there any way to fix this? Also, when I open iMessages, all the texts are from his phone (his text conversations).

Open up the imessage app on your Imac. Once you have it opened go to top left corner of your screen next to the apple picture and the word MESSAGES appears. Click on it then click on preferences and uncheck your husbands phone and number and or any other numbers which are checked. I had same problem this fixed it. Also if you wanted to you can open up your own Apple account, but that's not really necessary. My wife and I both share the same as you do
