I have seen that some of my Itunes music has not gone to the cloud, and I can't seem to refreash this? What should I do?

One of my iTunes songs has an "!" beside the title and I can't play it; where did it go?

I just tried to play one of my iTunes songs, and it is showing up with either an "!" or an "i" beside it. I can see the title but it is in light gray and when I try clicking on it, it says it's not there.
I had this problem a while back, when the memory was really low on the computer, but that's not the problem today.

Actually, I fixed it, but am not sure why it had the "!" in the first place.
I went to the external hard drive, Time Machine back up, and found it there.
Was able to play it from there, then just dragged it to the iTunes icon on my desktop.
As I said, I have no idea how this song got there. It's a case of having 2 of the same song, one with vocals and one with accompaniment. The accompaniment version was there, but the vocal is the one that was messed up.
Not sure if there are other songs in my iTunes with the same problem or not---sure hope not!

You can contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department at no charge using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find an "Email Us" button) and explain your problem to them.

Also, when I do try to drag it out of the Trash to put it back into Applications (on the Finder sidebar), it asks me to authenticate with the administration password. I enter it, and then a window appears saying that I can't do that because I do not have permission to modify iTunes. Please help.

Windows Explorer will display tag properties for mp3 & wma files, not aac (m4a) or wav. It is possible for mp3 files to contain multiple tags but only one will be displayed. Try inspecting the problem fils with a third party tag editor to see if you can tell what is going on. For mp3 files, provided all the details that you want the file to have are displayed in iTunes, you can try using the right-click option Convert ID3 Tag > None a few times followed by Convert ID3 Tag > ID3v2.3 which may well help.

Is it possibly to have iTunes music play out of both the computer and Apple TV while simultaneously using Airplay Mirroring to view the computer screen on the TV? Whenever I try, by clicking on 'computer' radial button for volume in iTunes Airplay, the TV automatically reverts to the Apple TV screen. I usually end up using preferences to 'bring back' the audio to the computert while leaving the picture on the tv, but this means i have to suffer from the inferior sound quality of my Macbook internal speakers.

Google 'Perian' and 'Flip4Mac' — these are the extensions that will make QT play other file formats.
However, a simpler solution is just to abandon QT in favour of the free, open-source player VLC, which plays just about everything natively without further downloads.

See if your Mac can run Lion > OS X Lion - Technical Specifications
You can purchase Lion here > OS X Lion (10.7) - Apple Store (U.S.)
After the purchase Apple will send you an email notification with a redemption code you can use at the App Store to downlaod Lion.
BEFORE you do that, see if your Mac can Mavericks > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements
If so, you don't need to purchase Lion.
You can download Mavericks from the App Store for free.

It's a POP account. I decided to clean up my mailbox today after noticing the computer was real slow after USA Today started sending their daily top stories with new graphics. Also before I noticed the problem with mail deletion - two things happened. 1) I updated security sofware as prompted by Apple and 2) downloaded Mackeeper and went throught some preliminary scans but did not buy their package. I'd say that darn stupid. The whole world can access iTunes Radio via Apple TV and the laptop, but apple had to restrict this to the US for IOS 7 for iPad & iPhone.

OK, it now sort of works. A couple of problems here:
After updating IOS, Safari iCloud was "automatically" switched off
Switching it on had no effect
resetting my iPad automatically switched off safari iCloud again
after switching it back on, it said "turning off safari data"
switched it off and on again, now it said : "turning on safari data" and the sync worked
On IOS 7 no problems
The bookmarks not being displayed was because after pressing the book icon, it defaulted to showing the history and I had to press "Back" to get to the other options

Ever since I updated to ios 6 on my iPhone 4S, iTunes Match has not worked.
I have been through the process of deleting my iTunes control files, and that worked temporarily, but now I cannot listen to music through the service.
It shows my artists and albums, then takes forever to access the songs (often more than 10 minutes - and yes, that's using WiFi), more often than not crashing before it gets to that point, then repeatedly crashing when I try to open the Music App, so I can't even access things I've downloaded.
Has anyone else found a solution?

After some troubleshooting, I decided to order a new battery. I replaced the battery and was then able to get it to restore, however--after I restore it and it comes time to restart the phone, it gets stuck and doesn't turn on.

After you ruined the iPhone with DIY, Apple won't touch it anymore. You should have asked before all these had happened.
I'm an android user myself and I love rooting/flashing new ROMS, so if jailbreaking her phone or doing some kind of super-restore with 3rd party programs might help, I'm all for it-

Why would files that are in my iTunes Music folder not show up in iTunes?

Downloaded emusic.com files show up in my iTunes Music folder like usual, but iTunes doesn't seem to detect them. Then, each time I quit iTunes I receive a problem report saying iTunes quit unexpectedly. Help?

iTunes is a data base manager and as noted needs a reference.
If I am adding tunes not purchased from the iTS then I d/l to a folder on my Desk Top then as noted 'Add to Library'.
I also have the iTunes prefs>Advanced>copy .... option enabled. This way iTunes will copy the tune into iTunes and then you can delete the Desk Top copy.
