I have several folders setup in my Safari. However, when I try to add a website to them, it never appears. When I add a folder and add a website to it, the website appears. Help?

I thank you for the response. Apple does some assinine things sometimes and this is one of them. Ask the planet the difference between a movie and a home video and with the exception of Apple, you'd get 100% consenus on the what difference is. A home video is something that I shoot, like my kids birthday party. A movie is something I urchased either via download or a DVD that I ripped. Unbelievable! The fact that Apple has chosen not to distinguish based upon which folder I tell it is Movies and which folder is Home Videos is really hard to fathom - sounds like something Windows would do. I find it funny that in my iTunes movies sub-section of the movies section, the movie icons have a cloud icon in upper right corner to distinguish it as bought from Apple iTunes versus no cloud icon for movies that I have ripped - so the distintion was already made and clearly visible. Now - everything just defaults to "home videos" if I try to import a new ripped DVD - why even bother to have this distinction on the iTunes bar? WOW!
As for your direction, I do not understand what you are telling me - what Media Kind and what Options tab are you referring to? I see no Options tab in iTunes. Right licking on the movie icon does not yield media kind or options as well. Gping to the source file does not yield these options either.

I think it is a tremendous problem. Im my case it is extremelly important to manage, organize and sort favorites.
I am new to Mac and safari... and I spent a lot of time researching a solution for that thinking it was me that couldnt find this option. I like to use safari because of the "gestures". This is great. But when it comes to favorites, safari is a nightmare!!!
Also, I use to like the option in Firefox that we can have the leftside bar with the favorites and navigate to the links in the right. In safari the links are open in the full page. And then we need to come back to the favorite everytime.
I would be glad if someone could come out with good solution or suggestions how to deal with it in fafari.

Do you mean that you have folders on your desktop?
No, you should not lose those if you upgrade your OS; however, it is recommended that you do make a complete backup of all your files before doing so just in case. I'd suggest a Time Machine backup or a bootable clone so you can restore if necessary.
FWIW, you could also store your folders in your Documents folder and drag their icons to your dock for easy access.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

*** may have found a fix ? *** Thanks to your post re: GDI objects I checked task manager ( added column "GDI objects")and saw 700+ whereas working 6.18 was 160 ish Got thinking - what could possibly use that many GDI objects ( firefox only uses a few hundred and it's a platform ) Then it hit me - emoticons ! So in tools/ options/ IM&SMS/ IM Appearance unchecked "show emoticons"and also unchecked "show images and other media previews"restarted Skype and GDI objects now only 164 ( down from 729 )and all other windows are repainting fine and are usable again( my problem was RDP sessions that became unusable, as I work remotely ) To be sure, have rechecked the options and restarted skype and see 700+GDI objects ( goes up from 660 when place call to echo/sound test )and removed them again to get only 164have also rebooted a few times and gone through the whole processof unchecking emoticons, restart, rechecking emoticons, restart to make sure itsnot a fluke. pretty sure this has fixed it for me ( so I now have a working 7.6.0.105 on XP SP3 ),and as your problem "sounds" the same I hope it also works for you. That is a baseband error. Has your phone ever been illegitimately unlocked? If so, that problem happens. If you haven't jailbroken/unlocked, visit your local Genius Bar.

How are you trying to open the photos?
- from windows explorer? - double licking or right clicking and selecting Open with?
- by loading the editor and go to File -> Open?
Looking back at your other threads you seem to have had this problem before - what keeps changing?

Try toggle Bluetooth off and on. You can also try a reset all settings (your content won't be deleted).

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
In brief; backup the device, recover what you can from it, download other purchases from the iTunes Store, restore the device, add content, keep a backup of your library in future.

You can right-click on the "Home" button and choose "Customize," then drag all of the icons (including Home and Reload) to where you want them.

This began sometime after upgrade to 10.7.1 however this does not explain why either of my iPAD's does not see the 5GHz network.

Apple is not here. Even if they might rarely monitor these boards, they will not respond. We're all users, just like you.
Suggest that you open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utiltiies > AirPort Utility
Click Manual Setup
Click the Wireless tab below the icons
Click the Wireless Options button
Check one more time to see if you still have the 5 GHz Name option enabled. If not, enter a check mark and click Update to save the new settings.
If 5 GHz is enabled, temporarily disable the setting and Update. Then go back in and enable the setting again.
If you still cannot "see" the network from any device, about all that you can do at this point is reset the Time Capsule back to factory defaults and try the configuration again to see if it will "take". Lion is causing some strange issues, and this may be another.
If this is not successful, then it's time to contact Apple support or arrange a visit to an Apple store to let them take a look

Do you have any extensions that may force a secure connection?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

OK...now I appear to 'progressed' I changed my email address back to original on Apple id and then was able to delete icloud account. Apparently I couldnt do it as it kept requesting password when I entered passsword ( both old and new one, it wouldnt accept it as it had my old email address in ) It didnt do that on ios6 . Anyway I deleted account, but now I tried to login in with my new id/password and it says unable as already in use!!! More help needed please! Its a nightmare!!
