Hi guys, I am a student of enginering. I am doing the project to finish. I need some source code to show images from a webcam to an applet in the client�s browser using JMF. When client press a button in my GUI it should be show a frame with the images from the webcam.

I have a simple goal.. well maybe now too simple. My goal is to capture tv program and right away stream it on the internet. I have a decent PC, am planning on buying a tv tuner and have been thinking about how I will be able to achieve my goal. Does anyone know if VLC can have tv tuner as a capture device? Is there an article, or perhaps a tutorial that you know of which I could read?
I am also wondering, how would I be able to stream video to the internet, so that people can see it in the browser window? like windows media player plugin?

I am doing what you are wanting with a Leadtec TV2000 express. You should have no problems. Use DirectShow tab. Select your Tv tuner. Select Stream output.. Select MMSH and give it a port. I use Asf for encapsulation and div3 for video mp3 for audio. It's not to bad on my 1.7 gig intel.. about 40% cpu usage. Now all you have to do is type mms://(IP):(port) from start and run.

Creating a copy of an existing JTable that does not have source code.

I am working on a java swing based application. We used a third party API for JTable for showing some data in a table format and also for printing function. As of now print button is printing the whole table being shown in the application. Our new requirement of printing is �Users don�t want to print all the columns being shown in the application and they wanted to have print of columns whatever they would like to see�.
The above requirement can be fulfilled if I can have a copy of the existing table. Unfortunately we don�t have the source code of the table being shown in the application as we are using 3rd party libraries. Had the source code been there I could have implemented cloneable interface or proto type pattern.
Can some body help me how can I create a copy of the existing table? Basically the high level approach I thought of is create a new object of the table class and copy the properties/attributes of the existing table to the new table object. But I don�t know what attributes should be copied so that I can have the copy of the original table and how to construct (code) this new table.
I would be very grateful if some one could help me with this.

I understood your suggestion. But it would be very difficult to migrate as it requires lot of changes across different tabs of the existing application. This application was developed around 6 years ago. And this change would require lot of regression testing too.

Is there anyway I can keep design view, source code AND css open on screen all at the same time?
Constantly clicking between source and css is really becoming irritating, would be so much easier if they were both on screen at the same time.

You have two choices.
1 You can go to preferences>general and the very first item (in CS6) is "open document in tabs" if you deselct that then you can view your page in split view and also open up the CSS file and have it visible as well.
2 If you use tabs you can view the page in split view and open the CSS file and then detach the css from the tab and it will be an idependent item. You detach it by highlighting the tab and then dragging it down.
It helps to have a large screen, and better still to have more than one screen, you can put the css on the other screen.

How to get / view Java Sound source code

Hi All,
I'm curious to view the Java Sound source code, is that possible? Let me know what I have done so far,
1. In eclipse I have mapped the src.zip from the JDK directory, now I am able to view most of the source code.
2. When I try to view AudioSystem.getProviders method it returns value from JDK13Services.getProviders
But I dont have source code for JDK13Services class, indeed i don't have com.sun.media package source code, in the src.zip
Do anyone know how to get com.sun.media package source code?

The JVM consists of the ClassLoader,ByteCode Verifier,and JIT.Now for the developing of the JVM you require to develop all three parts.But Classloader again have BootStrap Classloader,Extension ClassLoader and Application ClassLoader.Out of these you have the BootStrapClassLoader Developed in C++/C(You can check the code).
BootStrap Class Loader is basically developed for all platforms as it will load the rt.jar the basic java classes.So all the OS have different implementaion of this class loader.Rest all is developed in the Java.
Now comming to your query I would like you to check the JAVA_HOME/include directory where you can find win32 and some *.h files which are basically should be the implementation of your JVM.I am talking about the hotspot JVM.
So with the download of hotspot for windows you have source code also embeded in that.

Could you please point me to a resource describing "the JavaFX Runtime license"? I'm trying to find answers to the following questions:
1. I'd like to use Scenario.jar from the JavaFX project in a desktop app that is not using Webstart and is not an applet. Will I be able to ship the jar with my software?
2. Can JavaFX applications be distributed as commercial software in the absence of a Web connection?
What's not clear to me is which is the real license for Scenario.jar (as shipped with JavaFX). Is it the one in openjfx-compiler's trunk, or the one that comes with the JavaFX SDK (which is very vague about redistribution)?

New fora software has tampered numbers of AppleScript source codes in posted messages to the extent that they become entirely useless. This is serious.

At a glance, tab and double hyphens (at the beginning of a line?) seem to have special formatting meanings in the new fora software and be translated into some HTML list elements. However, tabs are embeded in well-indented source codes pasted from Script Editor, though they're usually ignored in browsers, and double hyphens have been used for marking line comment in AppleScript. Consequently, almost all of the posted AppleScript source codes are affected.
Plainly, it is not a good idea to apply new formatting features to the existing messages in the first place. It can introduce corruptions and it does indeed.
So my requests to fora administrators are:
(1) Please restore the existing messages in AppleScript forum to the original untampered state (and apply new formatting features to only new messages to be posted after the change, if you see it really necessary).
(2) Please keep the fora software from interpreting tab and double hyphens (at least) as HTML formatting directives.
(3) Please disclose the list of all characters which are interpreted as special commands in the new fora software in order to avoid further corruptions in the future.

Please don't stop there. Disclose all the details of the new features, like a smiley-to-icon chart or exactly how the quote box format works (single leading ">" vs. one per line or paragraph, what happens in different sized tables, how multiple quote levels (">>" lines) behave, etc.).
I realize I could probably figure this out by trial & error plus pouring over the raw source HTML, but it is ridiculous that I would have to do so with an Apple site -- after all, the company is supposed to be the world's best at ease of use & user friendliness!

Have any source code can produce a web traffic analysis?

I want to get the source code to produce a web traffic analysis report, for example i input a tomcat's access_log, it can analysis this log file and then output the analysis result in html file format.
I have already found a source code to parsing the IE's log file, but i can't find a source code to parse the tomcat's access_log file.

Its pretty strange that u r working with Java and worried about source codes. There are plenty of codes available around the internet.
However if u want to see the source codes of the applications u have downloaded, do one thing, unzip the jar to ur hdd and the use any decompiler to decompile the class files and make the project using the java files generated there by.
If the files are obfuscated (as hopefully they will be), u have to make bit reverse engineering otherwise use any debugger (I recommend using Netbeans) and debug the application.

I would guess that the use of h1-h6 tags helps search engines to understand the structure of a page as the tags imply a certain structure.
This can be compared to more generic tags like <div> that could represent any kind of content - and may be what iWeb uses (you'll have to check yourself).
I would generally recommend that you use some kind of up to date blog/site building tool, perhaps Wordpress or Squarespace (I haven't used either one myself) that support current web technologies - this should reduce your SEO issues and make it easier to properly support mobile/tablet users.

Source code not generated in mapping

Hi,
I tried mapping an Idoc to an XSD in my mnessage mapping.When I try to check my message mapping I get an error msg : "<Mappingname> has no Source Code"...My scenario is only some fields of Idoc map to the XSD and the rest are constants..I am in XI3.
Any help is appreciated...
