I have three dvds that play in a dvd player. One of the three plays in my imac but the other two say they are blank. How do I get my imac to read these other two dvds?

My iMac is very picky about any dirt or smudges on the DVD.

It's possible that the DRM (digital rights management) disallows you to port those movies onto a TV. What app are you using? Some apps are 'ipad only' and will not push out to another screen.

travel! Regarding your iPhone 5, the phone is unlocked for international usage.
Just need an active local SIM card that is compatible with your iPhone. Your local provider
may need to configure some settings under Cellular, but it should pick up signal. Just in
case, make sure that Settings>Cellular>Roaming>Voice & Data are
active.

As tonefox says, all iphones have ony one speaker on the bottom.

Try updating to QuickTime 7.7.3. (That has helped a few people who were getting that when trying to play the videos with version 7.7.2.)

I appear to have three different versions of photoshop Cc on my computer. They are Photoshop CC, Photoshop CC (64 bit) and Photoshop 2014. Am I able to remove the first two without affecting the preformance of the last version?

Help as this is all taking up so much space on my computer.

It is okay to remove the ones you do not need as they are not dependent on one another. If any problems arise afterwards you can post here again to get help.

Script that takes 2 images and overlays one on the other

I have a folder with 200 raw images in it. 100 of them might be called 1001-1001-1072 (Yellow).jpg and it's sister image would be 1001-1001-1072 (Yellow)_Overlay.jpg - making 200 images. The next image in the series might be 1001-1001-1073 (Red).jpg. It's really the last string of numbers that the script should look at.
Basically each image will have a sister image that will be used in photoshop as an overlay layer (of a script defined percentage). Can one of you geniuses create a script for me that will do this to all the images in a folder?
I'd like to use this inside of an action, if that means anything in the script parameters...

Sorry, the correct layer interaction should be SCREEN on top of the other image, not Overlay.

Each time I go to a new page, I get an error that pops up that states "uninstal set" over and over. It asks me to hit "ok" to get rid of the pop up. At the top of the box it says JavaScript Application. How do I get rid of this?

This started happening after I attempted to download FileZilla. I uninstalled FileZilla to see if that would help and it does not. I also tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling but that did not help.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Since I updated my adobe flash player firefox keeps saying that it is not responding after I open it and it loads my home page, I disabled add-ons and went throught the process of figuring out which one it was and it was adobe flash, but without flash I cant access a lot of different sites, how can I fix this. I have transferred my iTunes library from a PC to a Mac. Many of the albums will not run (not authorized) The system asks for old email account and passwords I used years ago. I have no idea what they are. How do I get around this?

Authorization lists very old email addresses of which I do not have the passwords or, in fact, access to the email websites. Can anyone whelp me with a way to get around this?

Yes, I believe I did with no success playing some of my "old albums." The remaing albums worked just fine.
I think I found a workaround by signing in to the old website using "forgot" password and changed it to a new one. Then I signed in using my Apple ID and Passwird. This seems to have worked.

70 photos that aren't there, but iPhoto and Bridge say they are

I have an iPhone (first gen) that has a problem. When I plug the iPhone into the computer that it always syncs with, I am unable to get the photos to display correctly in iPhoto.
The computer thinks there are 70 photos on the iPhone that are no longer on the phone.
Both iPhoto and Adobe Bridge report the photos as being on the iPhone. However, those photos are not there. And can't be downloaded or deleted.
But when I plug the same iPhone into a different machine, I see the correct photos and can delete them correctly.
I'm sure there's just some plist that has to be deleted, but I don't know what.

Try resetting the iPhone by holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons as described here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305743
Also, make sure the iPhone is directly connected to the Mac using the cable that came with it. Then disconnect any other USB devices.
Do the photos show up in the Image Capture? You can find Image Capture in the Applications folder, just launch Finder and click Go(top menu bar)> Applications> Image Capture.
