I have tried several times to update firefox when requested to do so and each time after down loading and installing I get a message that installation was unsuccessful because I am not authorize to use certain features or words to that effect.

Latest was email from Aol that they recommend downloading a special version of firefox (firefox 8) that's designed to work with aol. I downloaded file and everything worked until I reached the time you drag the firefox icon to implement the new file. Then I get this message unsuccessful because I am not authorize to access all of the features.

From which account does the email not send? When sending from an account, the iPad will first try to use the aoutgoing server for that account. If it can't it will try the other accounts listed.in the setting on the iPad for that account. It soulds like the server for the account is not working and that the alternate server is resjecting the messag since it did not originate ffrom the account associated with that server, That is to prevent sending spam.

I finally got a representative that was able to help me, she had me go to Get Info, by right clicking iMovie from the finder, and I had to click on Sharing & Permissions>Everyone>Read & Write

Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>your account>Outgoing mail ServerSMTP>Primary Server then turn Server ON and fill in both User Name +Password under Outgoing Mail Server.

HT6001 I have tried numerous time to update iTunes to Version 11.1.4. Each time it has failed. I get the message of "This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found". Also I get a message of "Error 7". Advise please.

The message I get is "This application has failed to start because MSVCR60.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." Okay. Which application? What steps are needed for this process?
Also, I get this message "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)" Could someone please assist me in the steps necessary to remedy this issue. Thanks.

For many users at this point in time (iTunes 11.1.4.62) uninstalling iTunes alone is not enough and they may need to undertake further steps...
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I have been in the tools section and went to options and under the privacy section I have selected to remember the passwords and it does not. I also went into the security section and checked the remember the password section and it does not remember them.My exception are empty in security section also. Try this:
First you can try signing out messages and then back in.
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings

You need to install Office on the computer from the installer DVD or disc image you purchased.
